Bucks Escape Pacers Behind Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Heroics

Giannis Antetokounmpo made sure Myles Turner’s homecoming ended with a win as he nailed the game-winning jumper to lead the Milwaukee Bucks (5-2) to a 117-115 triumph over the injury-ravaged Indiana Pacers (1-6) at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

Antetokounmpo finished with 33 points, 13 rebounds, and 5 assists, while Kyle Kuzma and Cole Anthony chipped in 15 and 11, respectively, off the Bucks’ bench. Turner, who made his return to Indiana after signing with Milwaukee in the offseason, had 9 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 blocks.

Pascal Siakam’s 32 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists, and 3 steals led the Pacers, who were without Tyrese Haliburton, Obi Toppin, T.J. McConnell, Bennedict Mathurin, and Andrew Nembhard.
