Saturday’s NBA schedule was again impacted by the ongoing tragedy in California. This time, two games were directly affected. But, like most game days, it was business as usual around the Association. Check out the highlights:
NBA Suspends Two More Games
The NBA has again postponed games due to the raging wildfires in California. The cancelled matchups were the Los Angeles Lakers (20-16) against the San Antonio Spurs (18-19) and the Los Angeles Clippers (20-17) against the Charlotte Hornets (8-27), with the former slated to be played at crypto.com Arena and the latter scheduled at Intuit Dome.
The NBA is yet to announce when the game will be played.

Bucks Eke Out Win vs. Magic, Spoil Paolo Banchero’s Return
Paolo Banchero had 34 points and 11 rebounds in his return from injury for the Orlando Magic, but it proved not enough as the Milwaukee Bucks (20-16) still came away with a 109-106 victory at Kia Center.
Leading the way for the Bucks was Giannis Antetokounmpo, who fired 41 points on top of 14 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals, and 2 blocks. Damian Lillard added 29 markers and 7 dimes and made two free throws in the end for the final tally.
Cole Anthony finished with 18 points and 7 dimes for the Magic, while Anthony Black chipped in 15 off the bench.

Kings Upend Celtics as Domantas Sabonis Dominates
Domantas Sabonis dominated the paint to help the Sacramento Kings (19-19) to a 114-97 victory over the Boston Celtics (27-11) at TD Garden.
Sabonis finished with 23 points and an NBA season-high 28 boards to lead the Kings to their sixth straight win. Sabonis is the first player to record at least 20 points and 25 boards in a game in Boston since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in 1971. DeMar DeRozan added 24 points and 9 dimes, while Malik Monk had 22 points and 8 assists. Sacramento is 6-1 under Doug Christie.
Jaylen Brown led the Celtics with 28 points, with Kristaps Porzingis adding 22 points and 10 boards. Jayson Tatum was limited to 15 points on just 5-for-13 shooting.
