Just five games in the NBA on Friday, but history was made nonetheless. We take a look at that milestone-making match and two others in our daily recap:

Warriors Waylay Kings as Steph Curry Makes History

Steph Curry made history as he powered the Golden State Warriors (38-28) to a 130-104 rout of the Sacramento Kings (33-32) at Chase Center.

Curry finished with only 11 points, but it hardly mattered as he made the two triples he needed to get to 4,000 career triples—a feat he and he alone can claim. Curry made history at the 8:19 mark of the third with a trey that gave the Warriors a 72-63 advantage.

Draymond Green topscored for the Warriors with 23 points, while Moses Moody added 17 points and 6 assists—including the one that led to Curry’s historic triple. Jonathan Kuminga returned from injury and had 18 points off the bench, while Buddy Hield and Gary Payton II had 16 and 11, respectively, also off the bench. DeMar DeRozan paced the Kings with 23 points.

Bucks Throttle Lakers with Balanced Attack

Giannis Antetokounmpo led four players with at least 22 points as the Milwaukee Bucks (37-28) throttled the LeBron James-less Los Angeles Lakers (40-24), 126-106, at Fiserv Forum.

Antetokounmpo finished with 24 points, 12 rebounds, and 9 assists; Brook Lopez added 23 points and 4 blocks; and Damian Lillard put up 22 markers and 10 dimes for the Bucks. Kevin Porter Jr. came off the bench to score 22 more on 5-for-7 shooting from distance.

Luka Doncic led the Lakers with 45 points and 11 rebounds but had 6 turnovers. Austin Reaves added 28 points and 8 rebounds as the Purple and Gold were outgunned by a determined Bucks team.

Wizards Stun Pistons with Big Fourth

A strong fourth quarter was what the Washington Wizards (14-51) needed to pull out a 129-125 triumph over the Detroit Pistons (37-30) at Little Caesars Arena.

Rookie Alex Sarr led the way with 19 points, while Jordan Poole and Justin Champagne added 17 each for the Wizards, who outscored the Pistons 33-24 in the fourth. Washington also got 51 points of the bench, with Bub Carrington chipping in 16 and Marcus Smart adding 15 on top of 7 dimes.

Cade Cunningham had 38 points and 10 assists for Detroit but was just 9-for-25 from the field and had 4 turnovers. Jalen Duren added 18 points and 14 rebounds.
