Five games were on tap around the Association on Sunday when two teams continued to be red hot while another took yet another tumble. Here is a recap of Sunday’s notables:
Suns Spoil Historic Night for Warriors
Three Golden State Warriors set personal milestones on Sunday at Footprint Center in Arizona, but none of that mattered as the Phoenix Suns pulled off a 113-105 triumph.
Devin Booker led the way for Phoenix with 27 points and 9 dimes, while Kevin Durant added 21 points and 10 rebounds. Stephen Curry, who became the 29th player to join the 24,000 points club on Sunday, finished with 23 markers and 7 rebounds. Buddy Hield hit two triples to move up to 17th all-time in three-point field goals made at 1,989, overtaking Jason Kidd.
Draymond Green, meanwhile, had a block to move up to second all-time in Warriors history in career blocks.
