NBA: “Secret Weapon” Waters III Steps Up for the Warriors, Spoils Zion and Ingram’s Terrific Scoring Night

San Francisco, CALIFORNIA – After the Golden State Warriors sidelined Curry and Wiggins due to injuries, a hidden gem suddenly pops up to hype up the fans in the Bay area during their matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans on October 29th.

Despite the absence of two of their biggest stars, the Warriors still managed to destroy the Pelicans, 124-106, behind sharpshooter Buddy Hield and the team’s “secret weapon”, Lindy Waters III.

After a series of playing in garbage time, the newly acquired forward made sure to take this opportunity to break out to the league. He played for 31 minutes as a second-stringer and finished with 21 points, 4 assists, and a career-high 8 rebounds. Not only was he a key piece in the offense, he also provided those much-needed defensive stops against NOLA.

Speaking of waters, Buddy Hield also made it rain in San Francisco. The new splash buddy fired 28 points and knocked down 7 of his 11 three-point attempts. Starters Moses Moody and Brandon Podziemski also tallied 17 and 19 points, respectively. Though Jonathan Kuminga had an impressive night, recording 17 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists, head coach Steve Kerr decided that he will come off the bench moving forward.

Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram’s Scoring Outbursts Were Still Not Enough
