It took heart, grit and effort for both the Colegio de San Juan de Letran and De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde to finally take the last two remaining spots of the Final Four of NCAA 100 Volleyball Round 2 last May 25, 2025.
Lightwork for the Lady Knights
Before this game, the Letran Lady Knights knew that their opponent, Jose Rizal University was placed at the bottom of the standings. Hinting that this game might actually be over before it even started.
Besides, their goal in this game was very simple, which was to win in order to make it to the Final Four.
Surely, they didn’t toyed with their opponents and went on to win 3 straight sets to come out victorious.
Judiel Nitura, the sister of the superstar rookie from the Adamson Lady Falcons, Shaina Nitura, led the scoring for her squad as she tallied 17 points all from her attacks. Her teammate, Vanessa Sarie, also scored 13 points along with 5 receptions.
Nicole Deala for the JRU Lady Bombers shines in their last game of the season with 7 points.
Final Score: 25-14, 25-20, 25-12
The Lady Bombers ended their season with 3 wins and 15 losses, earning the last spot in the teams’ standings at #10.
While the Lady Knights are currently the #2 team in the latest team standings with 14 wins and 3 losses.
Letran still has one final game in the elimination round, which is against Mapua University, which is on Wednesday, May 28. That game is still a must-win for them in order to have a higher seeding in the Final Four.

Lady Blazers Achieve their Final Four Dreams by Ending Others
In order to officially qualify their spot in the postseason, the Benilde Lady Blazers ended the Final Four aspirations of the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA.
During their match, similar to what the Lady Knights did, it was an easy 3 straight set win for them as they get their 15th win of the season and hold the #1 spot in the latest team standings.
Final Score: 25-15, 25-23, 25-18
The Perpetual Lady Altas suffered its 8th loss, earning a record of 9-8 and taking the #5 spot in the latest team standings.
Aya Densing was the leading scorer for the ladies from Taft Avenue with 15 points from her 13 attacks. Mycah Go was excellent both in defense and in offense as she had 12 points, 11 digs, and 7 excellent receptions.
Also contributing to the win were Cristy Ondangan, who had 11 points, while Zam Nolasco scored 10 points and Chenae Basarte had 19 excellent sets.
For the side of the Lady ALTAS, both Pauline Reyes and Mika Donig scored 10 points each.
The Lady Blazers still have one final game remaining in their schedule, which is against the LPU Lady Pirates, which will be on Friday, May 30, while the Lady ALTAS take on the San Beda Lady Red Spikers on Wednesday, May 28, before wrapping up their season.
