After a lackluster Game 3 performance, the lethal weapon came out blazing hot and led the Hotshots to a dominant victory on October 1.

Paul Lee was sensational, leading the Hotshots with 25 points and 6 assists, including a remarkable 3-for-4 performance from four.  Jabari Bird also shone, delivering a well-rounded performance with 30 points to his name.  The Hotshots’ offensive firepower was very evident tonight, with seven other players contributing 8 or more points, as they forced a do-or-die Game 5.

Fuller Shines for Rain or Shine Despite the Loss

On the other hand, Fuller’s dominance continued for Rain or Shine, as he powered his way to another double-double with 22 points. Clarito’s steady presence on the court also provided a key boost as he finished with 15 points. While four other players contributed double figures.

Despite missing their star big man, Zavier Lucero, due to concussion protocol, the Hotshots still controlled the inside battle and allowed their shooters to deliver. Magnolia’s fiery shooting was on full display tonight, especially in the second quarter where they connected on three four-pointers, propelling them to an 18-36 advantage over the Elasto Painters.

The Hotshots continued their impressive shooting in the second half, with Bird proving unstoppable as the lead steadily grew. The margin eventually ballooned to a high of 32 points after Mendoza drained a three-pointer late in the game, and there was nothing Rain or Shine could do.
