PBA Daily Metrics: Rain or Shine Clinch Their Third-Straight Victory Against Terrafirma Behind Leonard Santillan’s Three-Point Explosion while Jerom Lastimosa and Magnolia Survive a Late Phoenix Comeback

The Magnolia Hotshots Chicken Timplados (4-1) squandered a 14-point advantage but escaped with an 83-80 victory over the Phoenix Fuel Masters (1-4). Meanwhile, the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters (4-1) kept on winning, securing a convincing 106-91 victory over the Terrafirma Dyip (1-4) on October 31.

Bravo put up his best performance of his rookie season, leading all players in rebounding while also setting up a career-high. Offensively, he stayed steady, averaging 16 points over his last four games.

Leonard Santillan ROS PF 26 PTS | 7 REB | 2 STL | 41.9 FPS

Santi delivered another outstanding fourth-quarter performance, knocking down four threes and totaling 16 points. He’s been on fire from downtown in his last two games, making 10-of-18 and finishing with back-to-back 20-point performances.

Jerrick Vincent Ahanmisi TER SG 25 PTS  | 5 REB | 1 STL | 35.0 FPS

Jerrick continues to anchor his team’s offense, pouring in 11 points in the third quarter and finishing with an efficient 10-of-16 shooting from the field to notch 25 points for the second time this conference, while also maintaining his all-around impact.

Jhonard Clarito ROS PF 11 PTS | 5 AST | 4 STL | 34.7 FPS

Clarito had a subpar scoring performance against Terrafirma after averaging 17 points in his previous three but he stood out with a solid all-around performance, leading his team in playmaking and steals. 

Jason Perkins PHX PF 19 PTS | 5 REB | 1 BLK | 32.5 FPS

Big Perk had a limited impact in his first few games of the conference, but he’s starting to heat up, averaging 23 points on 16-of-29 shooting from the field over his last two games. In his last three seasons in the league, Perkins has averaged at least 15 points and 5 rebounds.

Norwood scored at least 9 points for the third time this conference and continued to make a strong impact on the boards, recording his second straight game with 10 or more rebounds.

Jerom Lastimosa MAG PG 14 PTS | 7 REB | 1 STL | 22.4 FPS

Lastimosa shot 5-for-10 from the field and made all four of his free throws, marking his fifth consecutive game with at least 13 points this conference.

Ricci Paolo Rivero PHX SF 6 PTS | 1 REB | 2 TO

Rivero wasn’t at his best, missing all six of his shots in the first quarter and finishing 2-of-8 from the field after averaging 20.3 points over his previous three outings.
