The TNT Tropang 5G (2-1) returned to the win column after outlasting the Converge FiberXers (1-1) in an intense 110-103 showdown on October 18.

TOP PERFORMERS OF THE DAY:

Roger Ray Pogoy TNT SG 27 PTS | 5 REB | 2 AST | 41.0 FPS

Pogoy caught fire after failing to score in double digits in his first two games. He was red-hot in the third, dropping 15 points, including four three-pointers, to push his team ahead.

Justine Baltazar CON PF 17 PTS | 12 REB | 2 BLK | 37.9 FPS

Baltazar recorded his second straight double-double of the conference and his sixth in his last eight games dating back to the previous one. Defensively, he has also averaged 3.75 stocks over his last four games.

Juan Gerardo Gomez de Liaño CON PG 14 PTS | 9 REB | 6 AST | 33.8 FPS

Juan GDL almost put up his second straight double-double performance but he still led the team in defensive rebounds and assists.

Calvin John Oftana TNT SF 18 PTS | 6 REB | 5 AST | 30.7 FPS

Oftana bounced back after scoring only 6 points against Ginebra. He was on fire to start the game with 16 points but slowed down for the rest of the game. Since last conference, he has been a consistent scorer, hitting double digits in 9 of his last 10 games.

Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser TNT PF 14 PTS | 3 REB | 3 STL | 26.6 FPS

BGR had limited impact in the first half due to foul trouble but scored 7 points to start the third. He finished with a flawless 3-for-3 shooting from the two-point range and 5-for-5 from the free-throw line.

Justin Arana CON C 19 PTS | 5 REB | 1 OFF | 25.0 FPS

Arana had an injury scare in the first half but played through it in the second. He still led the team in scoring, finishing with an efficient 7-for-11 from the field while also posting the best plus-minus on the team.

Deschon Winston CON SG 17 PTS | 5 REB | 1 STL | 24.0 FPS

Winston is averaging 16.5 points to start the conference while shooting a solid 8-of-15 from the two-point area.

Rey Nambatac TNT PG 10 PTS | 6 AST | 1 STL | 20.0 FPS

Nambatac was scoreless for most of the game, but he turned it around in the fourth quarter, knocking down two four-point shots to help his team stay in front. It was also a much better performance compared to his previous game, where he scored only three points in their loss to Ginebra.

Alec June Stockton CON SG 19 PTS | 2 REB | 1 STL | 18.4 FPS

Stockton stepped up big on offense, hitting 5-of-8 from the field and 6-of-7 from the free-throw line. He has scored in double digits in his first two games, but turnovers have been a problem, averaging 4.5 per game.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT OF THE DAY:

Simon Enciso TNT PG 9 PTS | 3-8 FG | 1 REB

Simon started the game but didn’t shoot the ball well. He averaged 14.5 points in the first two games of the conference.
