The San Miguel Beermen took over the No. 1 spot with a 126-91 rout of the NorthPort Batang Pier. Meanwhile, the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel overpowered the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters and secured a 98-80 victory on June 15.

Top Performers of the Day:

Stephen Jeffrey Holt (GIN SG) 27 PTS  | 12 REB | 4 AST | 46.4 FPS

Holt scored 10 in the first and 11 in the third despite a scoreless second quarter. He finished with six threes and remains the team’s most efficient scorer in this conference, hitting 45.8% from two and 43.3% from three.

Cade Flores (NOR PF) 13 PTS | 12 REB | 2 STL | 36.4 FPS

Flores finished the conference on a high note, registering double-digit rebounds in three of his last four games.

June Mar Fajardo (SMB C) 10 PTS | 11 REB | 3 STL | 35.2 FPS

June Mar delivered another strong performance in just 20 minutes. He’s been a major and consistent threat in the secondary categories, tallying 34 rebounds and 11 assists in his last two games.

Christian Jaymar Perez (SMB SF) 24 PTS | 5 REB | 1 STL | 34.5 FPS

Perez was in full attack mode early, scoring 11 points in the first quarter alone. He kept the momentum going in the third, adding 11 more. He’s been a highly effective scorer this conference, though his free-throw shooting remains a weakness.

Joshua Eugene Munzon (NOR SF) 19 PTS | 5 REB | 4 AST | 33.0 FPS

Munzon has struggled badly in his last two games, but maintained solid scoring numbers by going 7-for-10 from the line. Despite that, it has been an excellent conference for him, averaging nearly 20 points on 48.9% shooting.

Jamie Malonzo (GIN SF) 15 PTS | 10 REB | 5 AST | 31.5 FPS

Malonzo provided an early offensive boost, dropping 13 points in the first half to give his team the lead. He’s steadily emerging as an all-around force this conference, with multiple games with 10+ rebounds and 5 assists.

Japeth Aguilar (GIN C) 18 PTS | 10 REB | 2 AST | 31.0 FPS

Japeth was dominant in just three and a half quarters of play, going 8-for-10 from two and recording his third straight game with 10 or more rebounds.

Earl Scottie Thompson (GIN SG) 8 PTS | 9 REB | 5 AST | 30.3 FPS

Thompson hasn’t scored much in their last three games, but he remains a consistent all-around threat, averaging 6.3 rebounds, 6.5 assists, and 1.5 steals this conference. He also reached another milestone by recording his 1,000th career offensive rebound — his fourth major achievement this season after registering 500 steals, 2,000 assists, and 2,000 defensive rebounds.

Leonard Santillan (ROS PF) 13 PTS | 10 REB  | 1 STL | 28.0 FPS

Santillan had 0 points in the first half but turned it around, scoring 10 points in the third quarter. He leads the team in rebounding this conference, finishing with his fourth game with 10+ boards.

Biggest Disappointment of the Day:

Adrian Clarence Nocum (ROS SG) 13 PTS | 2 AST | 2 STL | 19.2 FPS

Nocum came out strong with 9 points in just the first quarter but spent most of the game on the bench as Ginebra pulled away in the second half. His production has been hot and cold over the last six games, alternating between big and subpar scoring performances.
