The TNT Tropang 5G took down the Blackwater Bossings with hot three-point shooting, securing their sixth straight win while the NLEX Road Warriors dominated the Magnolia Hotshots in the second half, clinching the best record in the league at 8-2 on June 6.

Top Performers of the Day:

Zavier Lucero MAG PF 23 PTS | 12 REB | 2 BLK | 43.90 FPS

Lucero got off to a strong start, helping his team build a 12-point lead in the first quarter and recording 19 points through three quarters. He has now scored at least 16 points for the ninth time this conference, while also maintaining solid rebounding numbers. He’s certainly capable of more if his team can get him involved more consistently.

Robert Lee Bolick NLX PG 25 PTS | 9 REB | 5 AST | 39.30 FPS

Bolick had a rough start, turning the ball over multiple times and committing 2 quick fouls. But he turned it around in the second half, scoring 13 points including back-to-back four point shots in the third quarter. Outside of scoring, he has also consistently racked up quality numbers in both rebounding and playmaking.

Paul John Lee MAG SG 16 PTS | 3 REB | 2 STL | 27.60 FPS

Lee has been one of the league’s top four-point shooters and added three more in his latest game. After a slow start to the conference season, he has found his rhythm, scoring in double digits in six of his last eight games.

Xyrus Dane Torres NLX SF 22 PTS | 4 3PM | 2 AST | 25.00 FPS

Torres was a game-changer in offense, stepping up with 8 points in the first quarter and then dropping 9 points in the fourth. He’s shown potential as a scorer in this conference averaging 13 points, but he’s yet to be more consistent.

Kelly Williams TNT C 15 PTS | 7 REB | 1 AST | 24.90 FPS

Williams continues to be a big factor on both sides of the floor, he has four double-digit scoring games and six with 7 rebounds or more in the conference.

Brandon Ramirez NLX PF 18 PTS | 4 3PM |  9 REB | 24.80 FPS

Ramirez delivered a huge second-half performance, knocking down multiple three-pointers. He’s also been a force on the glass, grabbing 15 rebounds versus Magnolia this season.

Simon Enciso  TNT PG 19 PTS | 5 3PM | 1 STL | 24.70 FPS

Enciso got hot in the second quarter, scoring 11 points to help his team stay in front. This marked his best scoring performance in the conference along with career best shooting from three.

Biggest Disappointment of the Day:

Mark Barroca MAG PG 2 PTS| 1-7 FG | 5 AST

Barroca has struggled badly on offense, scoring in single digits in back-to-back games and the sixth time this conference. Despite that, he continues to be productive at the guard spot, averaging 5.3 assists in ten games.
