For all the talk of the Western Conference being superior to the Eastern Conference, two Eastern Conference teams find themselves atop the Rebanse Weekly Rankings one month into the 2024–25 NBA Season. In fact, three of the top five teams in this ranking come from the East, though the rest of the top 10 are from the West.
Take a look at the Rebanse NBA Weekly Rankings for November 18 thru November 24:
1. Cleveland Cavaliers (16-1)
Only blemish to the Cavs’ season has been a loss to the defending champs, which needed red-hot three-point shooting. Says a lot about The Land.
2. Boston Celtics (13-3)
Still living by the three, not dying by it.
3. Oklahoma City Thunder (12-4)
Young Thunder showing character, finding ways to win.

4. Golden State Warriors (12-4)
Bad loss to Spurs shows Dubs still need lots of work.
5. Orlando Magic (11-7)
Franz ‘Effin’ Wagner is ballin’ for the Magic.
6. Houston Rockets (12-6)
Rockets playing hard, defending, and getting production up and down the roster.

7. Los Angeles Lakers (10-6)
Mike Malone is still the Lakers’ daddy, it appears.
8. Denver Nuggets (9-6)
Only thing that stopped the Nuggets has been Nikola Jokic’s three-game absence.
9. Memphis Grizzlies (10-7)
Scrappy, hardnosed Grizz playing with grit and grind without Ja Morant.
10. Los Angeles Clippers (10-7)
Norm Powell is rising and James ‘Uno’ Harden still ballin’.

Knicks have been solid, not superb. Winning but still underachieving.
12. Milwaukee Bucks (8-9)
Here come the Bucks! Giannis Antetokounmpo playing like an MVP this season.

No Luka [Doncic], no problem so far. Other Mavs getting their moments.

Heat keeps finding ways to win, but keeps finding ways to lose, too.
