The 2024–25 NBA Season is picking up steam, and teams are making their move. That’s why there is plenty of movement at the top of the order.

See who’s no. 1 in the Rebanse NBA Weekly Rankings for November 4 through November 10:

1.  Cleveland Cavaliers (11-0)

Historically prolific offense—122.7 PPG, 52.8% FG—has the Cavs soaring to a franchise-best start. One-sided beatdown of the Golden State Warriors proves Cleveland is a force.

2.  Phoenix Suns (8-1)

The Suns are king of clutch so far this season, with seven of their eight wins won by five points or less. Having the best clutch player in the game today in Kevin Durant—35 clutch points—definitely helps.

3.  Oklahoma City Thunder (8-1)

Thunder’s league-best defense—100.2 points allowed, 7.3 BPG—has the franchise rocking an unheard of 15.2 points differential. But they got ambushed by a rising Denver Nuggets team.

4.  Boston Celtics (8-2)

Cs continue to live and die by the three with a league-high 51.4 attempts leading to a league-best 18.5 3PM. When the well dries up, as it did against the Golden State Warriors, Cs look beatable.

5.  Golden State Warriors (7-2)

A huge road win against the defending champs showed the Warriors are for real, but a blowout loss to Cavs a day later proved they’re a work in progress still.

6.  Denver Nuggets (6-3)

Nuggets punctuated a perfect 4-0 week by giving the Thunder their first loss of the season. Nikola Jokic continues to be MVP-like, Russell Westbrook is bringing energy, and the young guys are chipping in.

7.  Los Angeles Clippers (6-4)

Norm Powell emerging as the Most Improved Player frontrunner has the Clippers surging with their own perfect week.

8.  Memphis Grizzlies (6-4)

Team effort propelling the Grizzlies up, but Ja Morant’s hip injury might be a concern moving forward.

9.  Minnesota Timberwolves (6-3)

Anthony Edwards is starting to pick things up for the Wolves, with Julius Randle rediscovering his All-Star form has the Wolves riding a three-game winning streak.

10.  Houston Rockets (6-4)

Alperen Sengun and Jalen Green are taking turns having big games for the up-and-down Rockets.

11.  Indiana Pacers (5-5)

Big wins over the Dallas Mavericks and Eastern Conference rivals New York Knicks nudge the Pacers up several spots.

12.  Brooklyn Nets (4-6)

Nets have been a big surprise this season, and close losses to the Celtics and Cavs prove they are a hardout. They play hard, they play together, and they play with tenacity.

13.  Dallas Mavericks (6-4)

Uneven week for the Mavs, but a near-comeback against the Suns shows a team that’s hard to beat—especially when Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving are both superb.

14.  Sacramento Kings (5-4)

Still hard to make of the Kings, but DeMar DeRozan and Domantas Sabonis give them a chance every game. Getting DeAaron Fox at full strength might unlock them.

15.  Detroit Pistons (4-7)

Cade Cunningham showing out—two triple-doubles last week—is making the young Pistons competitive.

16.  Los Angeles Lakers (5-4)

Early road struggles exposed glaring holes for the Lakers, but they still have Anthony Davis and LeBron James.

17.  Charlotte Hornets (4-5)

Back-to-back wins to end the week offset a three-game losing streak—twice to the Cs—prior.

18.  New York Knicks (4-5)

Karl-Anthony Towns beginning to hit his stride, but Jalen Brunson has been so-so.

19.  Chicago Bulls (4-6)

Bulls avert a winless week with a week-ending win against the Hawks.

 20.  San Antonio Spurs (4-6)

Victor Wembanyama is putting up ridiculous stat lines but might be shooting way too many threes for a 7-foot-4 unicorn.

21.  Miami Heat (3-5)

Heat is looking like a mid-tier team. Not at all surprising but definitely a cause of concern.

22.  Orlando Magic (4-6)

Magic still reeling from Paolo Banchero’s ill-timed injury. Lack of a go-to-guy rearing its ugly head.

23.  Atlanta Hawks (4-7)

Strong play from Jalen Johnson and Dyson Daniels hints at a promising future and perhaps a looming run for the young Hawks.

24.  New Orleans Pelicans (3-7)

Inconsistency and injuries—four rotation guys are out at the moment—send the Pelicans further back down.

25.  Washington Wizards (2-6)

A winless week follows up a two-game winning streak.

26.  Portland Trailblazers (3-7)

The lack of top-level talent is an obvious concern for the Blazers.

27.  Toronto Raptors (2-8)

Raptors can score, but their defense needs work—lots of work.

28.  Utah Jazz (2-7)

Two wins give the Jazz some signs of life.

29.  Milwaukee Bucks (1-8)

Bucks can’t seem to figure things out, even with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard playing at All-Star levels.

30.  Philadelphia 76ers (1-7)

The Sixers got back Paul George but lost Tyrese Maxey in the process. Joel Embiid’s return this week might be the tonic this team needs.
