The PBA Philippine Cup is inching closer and closer to the quarterfinals, and it looks like the defending champions—the San Miguel Beermen—will be entering the playoffs as No. 1 in Rebanse’s Weekly PBA Power Rankings. Not only do they have a seven-game winning run, but they also look like they’re peaking at the right time. Everything else in these rankings is in flux, so let’s get right down to it by first looking at the updated standings as of December 15, 2025:

Now, here are Rebanse’s Weekly PBA Power Rankings:
1. San Miguel Beermen
Shellacking Blackwater made it seven straight wins for the Beermen, who look primed for another title run with a loaded, confident lineup.
2. Rain or Shine Elasto Painters
An acid test awaits the resilient, hard-fighting Elasto Painters as they take on a Magnolia squad looking to finish in the top four. But the talent is there, and it looks like Rain or Shine believes now.
3. Meralco Bolts
Three huge wins upon their PBA return have the Bolts primed to contend for a top-four finish and a big jump in Rebanse’s Weekly PBA Power Rankings. The emergence of CJ Cansino has given Meralco some badly needed offensive punch.
4. Magnolia Hotshots
Deep and talented but still inconsistent, Magnolia needs to pick it up as the playoffs loom. LA Tenorio’s coaching chops will be tested.

5. TNT Tropang 5G
A huge win against NLEX puts TNT closer to a top-four finish. With talent and championship pedigree on their side, it’s almost time for the Tropa to go on overdrive.
6. Converge FiberXers
A recent bad stretch hints that the FiberXers still have a lot of growing up to do. But the talent, again, is there, and it is undeniable.
7. NLEX Road Warriors
Loaning Robert Bolick to Gilas for the Southeast Asian Games could prove disastrous for NLEX, who are facing a must-win against Converge without Berto.
8. Barangay Ginebra San Miguel
Ginebra is peaking, but will it be in time? A must-win game against Rain or Shine could decide the crowd darlings’ fate.
9. Titan Ultra Giant Risers
Calvin Abueva has carried the Giant Risers to the doorstep of the quarterfinals. Now, all he wants is a chance for a do-or-die against Ginebra.

10. Phoenix Fuel Masters*
Phoenix gave it a good fight, but inexperience, both from the players and coaches, proved too difficult to overcome.
11. Terrafirma Dyip*
A gritty showing for Terrafirma overall, but the lack of talent showed.
12. Blackwater Bossing*
A disappointing showing for the Bossing overall. They had some talent but just couldn’t figure it out
* Eliminated
As the Fuel Masters, Dyip, and Bossing are all eliminated from playoff contention already, the Rebanse Weekly PBA Power Rankings will be saying good-bye to them for the meantime. The Giant Risers are hanging by a thread as of press time, but they’re a Ginebra win away against Rain or Shine from getting eliminated as well.
