Tyler Kolek
Tyler Kolek, a rookie guard for the New York Knicks, had an unforgettable New Year’s Day, stepping up to support his team with two games in one day. With Jalen Brunson and Miles McBride sidelined due to injury, Kolek played for both the NBA Knicks and their G-League affiliate, the Westchester Knicks. He posted 36 PTS, 11 AST, and a game-winning FT for Westchester in the morning, then added 2 PTS, 1 REB, and 4 AST in 12 minutes for the Knicks.
“It’s more mental than anything. Two guys go out with injury, gotta step in and be ready to go no matter the circumstances,” Kolek said in a video from SNY.
