After unveiling its newest player signings in Imee Hernandez, Ara Galang, and Mylene Paat, Strong Group Athletics (SGA) has turned its focus to bolstering its coaching pool ahead of the upcoming PVL season. The company has officially welcomed veteran volleyball tacticians Emilio “Kung Fu” Reyes and Koji Tsuzurabara.
Player Development Excellence from Reyes
As the owner of Farm Fresh Foxies and ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles, Strong Group Athletics stands to benefit from the combined experience of the two coaches. Reyes, in particular, is widely known for his strong developmental approach and long-term program building.
Over the years, Reyes has earned a reputation for developing players who later became household names in Philippine volleyball, including Alyssa Valdez, Jaja Santiago, and the Laure sisters. He most recently served as head coach of the now-defunct Chery Tiggo Crossovers.

International Experience, Championship Pedigree from Tsuzurabara
Also joining the group is Tsuzurabara, who brings proven international experience back to the Philippines. He previously led the Petro Gazz Angels to their first All-Filipino Conference title earlier in 2025.
Tsuzurabara is expected to provide valuable technical insight to both Farm Fresh and ZUS Coffee, teams that have often found themselves in the lower half of the standings. His structured, detail-oriented system could play a key role in stabilizing and elevating their performance.
With the arrival of Reyes and Tsuzurabara, SGA signals a clear commitment to investing in coaching and infrastructure. The move reinforces SGA’s push to build competitive, well-structured teams capable of challenging a league dominated by established contenders.
