With the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference about to start on the 1st week of October 2025, here are the Top 5 teams volleyball fans should look out for.

5. CAPITAL1 SOLAR SPIKERS

During the PVL On Tour, the Capital1 Solar Spikers went winless in the entire tournament as they failed to reach the Quarterfinals.

However, a lot of people have pointed out that if their key players were available during the tournament, their fate would be nowhere near to what they had.

The reason for the absence of #1 Overall Pick Bella Belen as well as rising star Leila Cruz, is that they were included in the Women’s National Volleyball Team to compete in various tournaments.

They also missed the services of Jorelle Singhand Jerrili Malabanan

Despite the 0-6 record, Capital1 still got great contributions from veteran Rachel Austero and Roma Mae Doromal.

And now with Belen and Cruz ready to suit up for them as well as Head Coach Jorge de Brito now focusing on the PVL and not with the Alas Pilipinas, the Solar Spikers will be at their full strength.

4. CREAMLINE COOL SMASHERS

It’s hard to make a PVL ranking without including the most well-known ballclub in the league right now.

The multichampion squad was giving their all during the PVL on Tour and in the 2025 Invitational as they continuously competed in the playoffs or semifinals.

With contributions from their superstars: Alyssa Valdez, Michelle Gumabao, Kyle Negrito, and Jema Galanza, this team should have a locked spot in the playoffs.

It’s also worth noting that their star, Bea De Leon, didn’t play in the On Tour and Invitational, top rookie Nica Celiz and Jia de Guzman had commitments with the Alas Pilipinas, which is why she’s unavailable as well.

With a well-rested and complete Cool Smashers, another title may actually be on their way.

3. CIGNAL HD SPIKERS

Winning the 2025 PVL On Tour MVP award was a surprise moment for Erika Santos and for the rest of the Cignal HD Spikers.

But this definitely meant that the 5th-year former PLDT player had finally figured it out.

Cignal went to the semis and lost; however, they played in the Bronze medal match during the On Tour. They then went 1-4 in the Invitational, failing to get a chance to play and get to the podium.

Now, as the time of the year turns to October, it wouldn’t be much of a surprise if the HD Spikers become the “Dark Horse” again in winning the title.

2. CHERY TIGGO CROSSOVERS

More than her lethal “face card”, Imee Hernandez has proven that she is the number #1 option for this Chery Tiggo squad.

In the On Tour, they defied the odds as they faced the PLDT High Speed Hitters and settled for a silver finish after a 5-set match. And in the Invitational, they went down kicking as they battled the Cool Smashers in the Bronze Game, only to lose.

Aside from Hernandez, veteran players Abby Maraño, Kath Arado, Jen Nierva, and Ponggay Gaston have found the perfect way to help the team using their veteran experience and presence.

In the Reinforced Conference, it will only be a matter of time until the Crossovers get over the “semis hump” and make it all the way to the golden prize.

1. PLDT HIGH SPEED HITTERS

For the #1 team, should this be a surprise?

The winning streak, which has lasted from June until August, that obliterated every team they fought, should still be feared coming into the Reinforced Conference.

The PLDT High Speed Hitters went on a 13-0 winning streak in 3 months, not losing a match, both in the On Tour and in the Invitational.

With premier players: Kim Kianna Dy, Majoy Baron, Mika Reyes, and MVP Savi Davison, there’s literally no stopping this squad in clinching back-to-back titles.

They even just had a glimpse of how great their rookie, Alleiah Malaluan, was in the Invitational, which just adds to the firepower of the High Speed Hitters.

In the Reinforced Conference, the champs are certified MUST-SEE TV and clear championship contenders to go for a possible 3-peat this 2025.
