What once felt like a distant goal has finally become reality for the Farm Fresh Foxies.
At the center of that breakthrough was Trisha Tubu, who helped power the Foxies to their first-ever semifinal appearance in the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference after a straight-sets win over Nxled, 25-17, 25-20, 25-19.
For Tubu, the moment was years in the making. “To be honest, sobrang sarap sa feeling. Pinapangarap ko lang ’to dati, and hindi ko alam kung kailan namin makukuha,” said the 25-year-old opposite spiker, who scored 12 points in the win. “Pero ito, through the process and help na lang din ng management and bawat isa, talagang trinabaho namin itong semis berth na ’to. Sobrang fulfilling, hindi ko ma-explain.”
Koji Tsuzurabara Brings It Together for Farm Fresh
The milestone marked a significant step for a team that has steadily built its identity since entering the league in 2023.
Through multiple coaching changes and system adjustments, the Foxies leaned on continuity in effort—learning to adapt while staying committed to long-term growth.
For Tubu, those constant transitions ultimately worked in their favor, especially under the system of head coach Koji Tsuzurabara. “Since alam niyo naman, naka-ilang coach na rin kami, iba’t ibang sistema. Siguro good thing sa amin ’yun. ’Yung pag-adjust, hindi naman siya ganoon kadali, pero hindi rin naman ganoon kahirap,” she said. “Sanay kami sa paiba-ibang sistema. ’Yung mga sistemang ’yun na-apply namin sa lahat ng games namin, and ’yung bagong sistema ni Coach, nag-add up lang—with the help of Coach Koji, talagang trinabaho niya sa amin.”
Now, the Foxies find themselves in unfamiliar, but well-earned, territory. For a team once seen as a long-term project, Farm Fresh has taken a decisive step forward—no longer just building, but beginning to contend.
