There’s no slowing down the Adamson Soaring Falcons and N.U. Bulldogs on the second day of UAAP Season 87 Men’s 3×3 Basketball last April 29, 2025.
While on the Women’ sides, both the UST Growling Tigresses and U.P. Fighting Maroons display elite performances to be on top of the standings.
Three Straight Wins for the Falcons and the Bulldogs
After being 2 – 0 on the first day, both N.U. and AdU get their third straight victory after playing against U.E. and Ateneo.
After trailing for almost the entire game, Steve Nash Enriquez made two crucial shots in order to seal the deal for N.U. in a thrilling game against the U.E. Red Warriors.
How close was this game? The Bulldogs ended the game with just a one-point lead, 21 – 20. Enriquez had 7 points and 2 assists while his teammate Jolo Manansala, who came off the bench, had 6 points, 4 rebounds, and was 60% from the field.
On the other hand, the Soaring Falcons were able to easily deal with the Ateneo Blue Eagles in a 21 – 15 win.
Both Ray Allen Torres and Cedrick Manzano had 9 points each in order to get their third win of the tournament. Torres also had 2 assists, 4 rebounds, and shot 70% from the field while Manzano had 9 rebounds and only missed one shot in the entire game, 8-out-of-9 (88%).
Still Perfect for Tigresses and Fighting Maroons

The UST Growling Tigresses didn’t show any sign of fatigue as they gave the De La Salle Green Archers their 2nd loss of the tournament. The U.P. Fighting Maroons also displayed a masterful performance in their game against the previously unbeaten FEU Lady Tamaraws.
It was a battle of two wins and zero losses for both FEU and U.P. Both schools finished Day 1 with unbeaten records, but only one team will walk away with 3 wins and zero losses.
Similar to their first 2 games, Kaye Pesquera and Christie Bariquit shine for U.P. in a 22 – 16 victory. Pesquera had 8 points and 4 rebounds while Bariquit had an even better stat line of 7 points, 5 rebounds, 2 blocks, and was perfect from the field (6-of-6).
The Growling Tigresses showed the Green Archers the result of competing in the inaugural season of the WMPBL. They won 20 – 13. Kent Pastrana and Eka Soriano scored the most points in a very physical game.
Pastrana had 6 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals. Sorian,o on the other hand, had 7 points and 3 rebounds. This win gave UST their third straight victory of the tournament.
