The Los Angeles Lakers (5-2) took the lead early and never let up, defeating the Miami Heat (3-3) and extending their win streak to three with a 130-120 victory on November 3.

Here are the key stats and the top performers of the game:

BEST PLAYER OF THE GAME:

Luka Doncic LAL PG 29 PTS | 11 REB | 10 AST | 61.2 FPS

Doncic slowed down on offense, shooting 40% from the field after hitting 58% over his first three games. He struggled even more from three-point range, converting just 1 of his 11 attempts. Despite that, he recorded his first triple-double of the season and the 83rd of his career.

BREAKOUT PERFORMANCE:

Jaime Jaquez MIA 31 PTS | 8 REB | 4 AST | SF 42.6 FPS

Jaquez finished with his first single-digit scoring performance in the previous game but got back on track today, scoring 28+ points for the second time in his last three outings. He’s been highly efficient, shooting 60% or better from the field in five games while also putting up solid numbers in rebounding and playmaking.

SCORING MACHINES:

Austin Reaves LAL SG 26 PTS | 9-22 FG | 4-5 FT | 44.3 FPS

Reaves’s scoring dipped in his previous two games, where he shot just 36.8%. He responded with a stronger performance today, shooting 40%, scoring 20+ points for the seventh-consecutive game  and recording his third game this season with double-digit assists. Over his last four seasons with the Lakers, Reaves has steadily improved his scoring numbers.

Andrew Wiggins MIA SF 15 PTS | 2-3 FT | 9 REB | 29.3 FPS

Wiggins scored 20+ points over his previous two games but struggled offensively against the Lakers, putting up more shots (16) than points. Last year, after moving to Miami, he averaged 19 points on 45.8% shooting from the field and 36% from three in 17 games.

STAT SPECIALIST:

Davion Mitchell MIA PG 8 PTS | 8 AST | 1 STL | 22.0 FPS

Mitchell recorded his fifth game this season with at least six assists. Last season, after joining Miami, he had seven or more assists in 12 of his 30 outings.

DEFENSIVE STANDOUT:

Bam Adebayo MIA C 8 REB | 3 STL | 1 BLK | 46.1 FPS

Bam impressed with an elite two-way performance. Offensively, he had his least productive scoring effort in his last five games but remained highly efficient, shooting 6-for-11 from the field. Defensively, he made an even bigger impact, leading the team in both defensive rebounds and steals.

THE SHARPSHOOTER:

Rui Hachimura LAL PF 15 PTS  | 6-12 FG | 3-5 3PT | 24.2 FPS

Hachimura is making nearly two triples per game on 44.8% shooting this season.

THE X-FACTOR:

Jake LaRavia LAL PF 25 PTS | 8 REB | 4 STL | 50.1 FPS

LaRavia is heating up on offense, missing only three shots while delivering his second 25-point game in his last three outings. Defensively, he’s also making an impact, grabbing eight rebounds for the second time this season and totaling seven steals over his last two games.

PLAYER TO WATCH:

Pelle Larsson MIA SG 17 PTS  | 5 REB | 6 AST | 31.0 FPS

Larsson is making the most out of his starting role, scoring 17 points for the second time in his last three games while also contributing in other areas.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT OF THE GAME:

Jarred Vanderbilt 4 PTS | 4 REB | 1 STL

Jarred’s minutes and production have been on a decline in his last two games.
