It was a busy 11-game slate in the NBA on Thursday, but it was also marked by quite a few blowouts. Nevertheless, there were a few standout games, including the Portland Trail Blazers pulling off a stunner, the Los Angeles Lakers surviving the San Antonio Spurs, and the Sacramento Kings blazing past the Golden State Warriors.

Here is a rundown of these exciting games:

Blazers Stun Thunder Behind Deni Avdija, Jrue Holiday

Deni Avdija and Jrue Holiday spearheaded the Portland Trail Blazers (5-3) to a 121-119 triumph over the erstwhile unbeaten Oklahoma City Thunder (8-1) at Moda Center.

Avdija flirted with a triple-double, finishing with 26 points, 10 rebounds, and 9 assists, while Jrue Holiday added 22 markers—including two freebies that put Portland ahead, 121-118, in the endgame. Jerami Grant added 20 off the bench for the Blazers, who erased a 21-point first-quarter deficit with spectacular play in the last three quarters.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led all scorers with 35 points, while Aaron Wiggins and Ajay Mitchell chipped in 27 and 21, respectively. Isaiah Joe, who finished with 14 off the bench, nearly had the chance to send the game to OT when he was fouled taking a long-distance shot. However, upon review, it was seen he was stepping on the line.

Westbrook finished with 23 points, 16 rebounds, and 10 assists to notch his NBA-leading 204th triple-double, while DeMar DeRozan top-scored for the Kings with 25. Dennis Schroder added 18 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists and hit three successive triples in a backbreaking 11-0 Sacramento run in the fourth quarter that gave them a 115-104 lead.
