NBA 2025-26 Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire Guide for Week 6

Week 6 of the 2025-26 NBA season is here, and we’re here to share a couple of names that season-long fantasy managers might want to take a look at on the waiver wire for this week.

Vince Williams, MEM, PG/SG/SF

The Grizzlies’ guard depth has been absolutely decimated by injuries, with Ja Morant having suffered a calf injury that leaves him on the shelf for about two weeks, potentially more. Meanwhile, Ty Jerome and Scotty Pippen Jr. have yet to suit up this season.

Memphis has since gotten creative and inserted Williams into the starting five. While he’s not the most efficient scoring guy, he will get you solid rebounding, assists, and stocks numbers.

Collin Gillespie, PHX, PG

The Phoenix Suns are one of the more surprising teams thus far into the season, and a big chunk of the credit should go to Collin Gillespie, especially with Jalen Green out with another hamstring issue after making his season debut on Nov. 6.

Gillespie’s stock is rising after nailing the game-winner versus the Minnesota Timberwolves in NBA Cup action, and if he’s somehow still floating around on your wire, definitely go grab him.

Peyton Watson, DEN, SF/PF

With Aaron Gordon joining Christian Braun on the sidelines due to injury, the Nuggets have been forced to mix things up, and Peyton Watson has benefited most under the guidance of head coach David Adelman.

Take note, don’t expect Watson to suddenly become a scoring monster, though he can put up big numbers here and there. His value comes from being a reliable rebounder, steals, and blocks guy.

Harrison Barnes, SAS, SF/PF

The San Antonio Spurs are another team dealing with injuries, with Victor Wembanyama, Dylan Harper, and Stephon Castle all sidelined. Surprisingly, Harrison Barnes has been the player who has capitalized on the opportunity.

Though his inconsistency can be frustrating, he’s been trending upward with Wemby injured. Many managers rushed to grab Luke Kornet, but Barnes has emerged as the better fantasy pickup. Just be prepared for some not-so-great games here and there.
