Here are the top performers on February 1 and the stats to highlight their impact.

BEST PLAYER OF THE DAY:

Jalen Johnson ATL SF 33 PTS | 12 REB | 10 AST | 67.4 FPS (vs. IND)

JJ finished with his ninth 30-point game and his 32nd double-double of the season. This also marked the 10th triple-double of his career, making him the first player in franchise history to achieve the feat.

BREAKOUT:

Pelle Larsson MIA SG 22 PTS | 7 REB | 5 STL | 49.4 FPS (vs. CHI)

Despite some offensive inconsistency, Larsson has stayed productive in other areas. He was sharp today, however, recording his third 20-point game of the season while also standing out in defense.

SLEEPER:

Kelly Oubre PHI SF 19 PTS | 10 REB | 4 AST | 37.0 FPS (vs. NOP)

Oubre finished with his third double-double of the season and his best performance since returning from a knee injury. With George suspended, he should be poised for a bigger role moving forward.

ELITE ASSET:

Anthony Edwards MIN SG 33 PTS | 1 STL | 1 BLK | 44.9 FPS (vs. MEM)

His overall output may have been limited today, but Edwards’ scoring remains elite, as he posted his 21st 30-point game of the season. This year, he’s emerged as one of the best offensive players in the league, averaging 29.4 points per game, ranking fourth, while also knocking down 3.5 threes per game, which places him fifth.

CATEGORY SPECIALIST:

Tari Eason HOU PF 17 PTS | 7 REB | 2 STL | 34.9 FPS (vs. DAL)

Despite not being fully healthy, Eason has remained steady, averaging 14.3 points, 3.0 threes, 7.3 rebounds and 2.8 steals in his last four games.

PLAYER TO WATCH:

Jabari Smith Jr HOU PF 19 PTS | 8 REB | 3 BLK | 40.6 FPS (vs. DAL)

The versatile big man has been dependable this season with his three-point shooting and rebounding, but he’s made a much bigger impact in recent games, averaging 8 rebounds and 4 blocks in his last two contests.

STREAMER:

Ayo Dosunmu CHI SG 29 PTS | 8 REB | 9 AST | 53.1 FPS (vs. MIA)

Over his last four games, Dosunmu has taken his game to another level, averaging 22.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 5.0 assists.

FLOPPER:

De’Aaron Fox SAS PG 11 PTS | 7 AST | 2 STL | 28.9 FPS (vs. CHA)

While Fox has stayed productive for his position, his scoring production has been mild in his past few games, posting 14 or fewer points four times in his last six.
