Here are the top performers on March 3 and the stats to highlight their impact.

BEST PLAYER OF THE DAY:

Reed Sheppard HOU PG 19 PTS | 10 AST | 6 STL | 63.4 FPS (vs. WAS)

It was a career performance for the sharpshooting guard, who delivered standout contributions in multiple major categories, including season-best numbers in assists and steals. He can definitely produce in those areas, but he remains at his best offensively, averaging 5 threes over his last five games.

BREAKOUT:

Hugo Gonzalez BOS SG 18 PTS | 16 REB | 3 STL | 52.7 FPS (vs. MIL)

The rookie guard came up big in the absence of Brown, setting career-highs in both scoring and rebounding while also providing strong defense. He continues to make a solid impact in recent games and is quickly becoming an important piece of the team.

SLEEPER:

Kris Dunn LAC PG 16 PTS | 7 REB | 7 AST | 39.9 FPS (vs. GSW)

Dunn has played at a higher level over the last three games, averaging 12.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 2.0 steals. Maintaining this level of production is unlikely, but he should still remain a key contributor moving forward.

ELITE ASSET:

Kevin Durant HOU PF 30 PTS | 7 REB | 1 BLK | 36.9 FPS (vs. WAS)

Durant continues to stand out offensively, shooting 50% from the field and a flawless 11-for-11 at the line to record his third-straight 30-point game and his fifth in his last seven. He remains one of the most productive scorers in the league, ranking 7th in total points and 35th in total three-pointers this season.

CATEGORY SPECIALIST:

Al Horford GSW C 17 PTS | 4 3PM | 6 REB | 31.7 FPS (vs. LAC)

Since returning from injury, Horford has been very productive, averaging close to 12 points, 2.7 threes, 6.0 rebounds and 1.3 blocks over his last three games. With several key players still sidelined, the Warriors will continue to lean on him for the time being.

PLAYER TO WATCH:

Kyle Filipowski UTA C 19 PTS | 8 REB | 6 AST | 40.6 FPS (vs. DEN)

Filipowski has scored in double-figures and recorded at least 5 rebounds in every game since the break. With the Jazz likely eliminated from the playoffs, he should continue to see a large role in the rotation and could be in line for even bigger performances to close the season.

STREAMER:

Bilal Coulibaly WAS SF 23 PTS | 1 STL | 2 BLK | 32.2 FPS (vs. HOU)

The versatile wing continues to trend in the right direction, scoring in double figures in six of his last seven games, including a season-high performance today with 5 threes while also contributing on steals and in other areas. He should have no problem maintaining this level of production, or even more, for the rest of the season.

FLOPPER:

Ryan Rollins MIL PG 5 PTS | 2 AST | 2 STL | 15.6 FPS (vs. BOS)

Rollins had a lackluster performance, finishing 2-for-11 from the field while making minimal impact in other areas. He’s been on a rough patch offensively over his last three outings, averaging just 9.7 points after starting strong since the break.
