Kim Fajardo is enjoying her role as the engine behind the PLDT High Speed Hitters, who currently sit atop the standings with a 6-1 record in the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference.
In PLDT’s straight-sets win over the Galeries Tower Highrisers, Fajardo tallied 15 excellent sets while spreading the ball effectively to a deep and balanced offense. For the veteran setter, having multiple scoring options on the floor has made her job both easier and more enjoyable.
“Good problem ‘yun para sa akin kasi lahat gusto pumatay, lahat gusto ng bola,” said Fajardo, who currently ranks as the league’s second-best setter in the statistical rankings.
Savi Davison led the High Speed Hitters with 21 points, while Mika Reyes added 10. Alleiah Malaluan contributed 9 markers, Majoy Baron finished with 7, and Kianna Dy chipped in 6 in a balanced scoring effort.
Kim Fajardo Has Complete Trust in Teammates
Still, Fajardo emphasized that the team’s success does not rest on her shoulders alone.
Kim Fajardo and the rest of the High Speed Hitters return to action against the Choco Mucho Flying Titans on Saturday, March 14, at 4:00 p.m. at the FilOil Centre, before closing its preliminary round campaign against the Nxled Chameleons on Thursday, March 19, at 6:30 p.m. at the same venue.
