Here are the top performers on April 10 and the stats to highlight their impact.

BEST PLAYER OF THE DAY:

Will Riley WAS SF 23 PTS | 9 REB | 7 AST | 59.3 FPS (vs. CHI)

It was a career performance for the rookie, who not only led the team in scoring but also provided significant contributions across the board. His work on the boards today was his best in his last eight outings, while the assists marked a season-high. Riley made his presence felt defensively as well, finishing with three steals and three blocks. While his offensive game can be problematic at times—going 1-for-13 from the field last game and finishing 1-for-9 from three today—he continues to show that he’s capable of producing at a high level, recording at least 20 points in five of his last eight games.

BREAKOUT:

Brandon Ingram TOR SF 38 PTS | 7 REB | 7 AST | 58.9 FPS (vs. MIA)

Since totaling 70 points in consecutive games in March, Ingram had been a little less productive offensively, averaging 16.8 points in his last nine games. But he returned to that level today, shooting 56% from the field and going 10-for-11 at the line for his 12th 30-point outing and also his best scoring game of the year.

SLEEPER:

Luke Kennard LAL SG 14 PTS | 8 AST | 4 STL | 39.4 FPS (vs. GSW)

The Lakers’ wing is one of the most efficient three-point shooters in the league this year, hitting 47.7% from deep. So far this month, however, he hasn’t been up to that standard, converting just 3-for-13 over four games. Despite that, he remains highly productive, becoming a consistent double-double threat in points and assists in each of his last three games.

ELITE ASSET:

Jalen Brunson NYK PG 25 PTS | 1 REB | 10 AST | 40.2 FPS (vs. BOS)

The star guard has emerged as one of the league’s best playmakers this season, ranking sixth in total assists. He’s been even better this month, recording three straight double-digit assist games to bring his total to 13. While he hasn’t been very productive from long range or the free-throw line in recent games, he continues to contribute strongly on offense, posting at least 25 points in five of his last seven outings.

CATEGORY SPECIALIST:

Collin Sexton CHI SG 27 PTS | 3 REB | 3 STL | 40.6 FPS (vs. WAS)

This was Sexton’s most productive scoring performance and also his most efficient one in his last ten games. During that span, he has been a very steady scoring option, not scoring fewer than 15 points while reaching the 25-point mark three times. He has also been getting it done on the defensive end lately, averaging 3.3 steals over his last three games.

PLAYER TO WATCH:

Tre Jones CHI PG 31 PTS | 6 REB | 3 AST | 45.7 FPS (vs. WAS)

Jones played really well last month, providing solid numbers in both rebounds and assists. But he’s made a much bigger scoring impact recently, scoring at least 29 points twice in his last three games on very efficient shooting. With several key players sidelined, he should continue to see a larger offensive role in the final stretch of the regular season.

STREAMER:

Leonard Miller CHI SF 26 PTS | 11 REB | 3 AST | 47.7 FPS (vs. WAS)

The forward has been a steady part of the line-up since last month, providing a positive impact on both points and rebounds. But he took it a step further today, knocking down 11-for-14 from the field to record his second 20-point outing while also finishing with his third double-digit rebound of the year. He should continue to see plenty of action in the remaining games and further establish himself as a core piece of the team.

FLOPPER:

Paul George PHI SF 7 PTS | 4 REB | 1 STL | 12.3 FPS (vs. HOU)

In his first six games since returning to the line-up, the former All-Star has been playing at an elite level, averaging 25.8 points, 4.3 threes, 6.5 rebounds and 3.5 stocks. However, he has slowed down over his last two games and also turned in one of his worst performances of the season today. He finished with four turnovers and really struggled offensively, going 0-for-5 from deep and tying his lowest-scoring game of the season.
