Here are the players who made the biggest impact on April 10 and the stats to prove it.

TOP PERFORMERS OF THE DAY:

Jaylen Rashawn Johnson ROS C 35 PTS  | 21 REB | 2 BLK | 71.7 FPS

Johnson was on an entirely different level today. Offensively, he was excellent from everywhere on the court and finished with a new conference best in scoring. He was also unmatched on the boards, racking up his second 20-rebound game of the conference. With his incredible play, he led Rain or Shine to the franchise’s best start in league history, winning all of their first six games.

Justin Brownlee GIN SF 29 PTS | 9 REB | 4 AST | 46.8 FPS

Brownlee really struggled to find his rhythm from deep today, going 1-for-9 from both the three- and four-point lines. While he compensated for it at the free-throw line, where he shot 10-for-11, he still finished with his least productive scoring game of the conference. Still, Brownlee remains one of the best scorers in the league, averaging 34.0 points per game on a highly efficient 58.2% shooting from two.

Kylor Kelley CON C 16 PTS | 16 REB | 2 BLK | 43.2 FPS

Kelley continues to be an effective inside presence, posting his sixth consecutive game scoring in double-figures. He’s just as impressive on the boards, now averaging 16.8 rebounds which is just a fraction behind the third spot in the league while continuing to lead all players in blocks at 3.2 per game.

Earl Scottie Thompson GIN SF 24 PTS | 10 REB | 3 AST | 42.5 FPS

In his first three games of the conference, Thompson really struggled to produce on the scoring end, averaging just 5.3 points per game. But he finally came through today, shooting 7-for-10 from two to finish with his fifth 20-point outing since last conference. What stood out the most was his work on the boards, as he outrebounded everyone with six offensive rebounds.

Michael Kurtiz Williams CON SG 16 PTS | 5 REB | 10 AST | 37.0 FPS

The former Finals MVP has started to regain his rhythm, finishing with at least 14 points, four threes and eight assists in each of his previous two games. He took it a step further today, recording a game-high in assists for his first double-double output of the conference. With this momentum, he should eventually rediscover his form as a high-level scorer.

Alec June Stockton CON SG 17 PTS | 4 REB | 3 STL | 35.8 FPS

In their previous game against Ginebra, Stockton was terribly inefficient, missing all nine of his two-point attempts and finishing with his lowest scoring output of the conference. But he got back on track today, posting at least 15 points for the fifth time this conference while also maintaining his signature impact on defense. He’s now averaging 2.7 steals per game this conference, which is the second-best in the league.

Gian Robert Mamuyac ROS SF 21 PTS | 3 AST | 2 STL | 33.1 FPS

Mamuyac was a force from the two-point range, converting 8-of-11 to finish second among all scorers while also recording his conference-high scoring output. In the Philippine Cup, he was also one of the best scorers from that area, shooting 52% while averaging 12.6 points per contest.

Andy Mark Barroca MAG PG 14 PTS | 6 AST | 2 STL | 30.8 FPS

The veteran had a really rough start to the conference, contributing little in their first three outings. However, he has turned things around lately, averaging 5.0 rebounds and 7.3 assists over his last three games. He also broke through on the offensive end today, recording his first double-digit scoring game of the conference.

Juan Gerardo Gomez de Liano CON PG 14 PTS | 3 REB | 4 AST | 25.6 FPS

Juan GDL was back in the lineup today after missing their last three games with a knee injury and immediately made his presence felt by contributing across the board. However, he still lacked his usual polish, shooting just 1-for-7 from three while also leading the game with four turnovers.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT OF THE DAY:

Clinton Daniel Chapman MAG C 18 PTS | 10 REB | 1 STL | 28.0 FPS

Even though Chapman couldn’t sustain his level of play from their previous games, he still posted a solid scoring output and recorded his third consecutive game with double-digit rebounds. However, his struggles were undeniable, finishing with eight turnovers while again dealing with foul trouble.
