Welcome to Rebanse Fantasy Corner! We are sharing our Daily Fantasy lineup recommendation for the all-important Game 3 matchup between the Orlando Magic and Detroit Pistons on Sunday, April 26.
If you’re new to Daily Fantasy, it’s a player-versus-player fantasy basketball game where your points come solely from the real-life performance of the players you draft.
Since it’s the playoffs, we’re open to adding players with “Questionable” or “O” tags because of the high-stakes nature of the postseason. If they aren’t good to go by tip-off, just make sure you have a backup plan so you can pivot your lineup quickly.
Our Tactical Approach for Game 3: We are obviously taking into account how the last two games turned out and reflecting the players’ performance in who we’ll draft for our lineup. Here is the direction we are heading:
- The Foundation: The obvious suspects go in first. We’re locking in Paolo Banchero at power forward, his running mate Franz Wagner at small forward, Desmond Bane taking the shooting guard spot, and Pistons star Cade Cunningham running the point.
- The Center Slot: At center, we’re not too high on a bounce-back from Jalen Duren, so we think it would be best to go with Wendell Carter Jr.
- The FLEX Spots: With 36 credits remaining to round out our team, we’re certainly adding the Pistons’ Tobias Harris and Ausar Thompson, plus Orlando’s Jalen Suggs.
Our Captain Picks:
- Captain: Paolo Banchero will obviously be our captain.
- Vice Captain: Our vice captain has to be Cade Cunningham, as he will have to carry much of the Detroit offense if they want to win this one.
