Here are the players who made the biggest impact on April 30 and the stats to highlight their impact.

TOP PERFORMERS OF THE DAY:

Robert Lee Bolick NLX PG 30 PTS | 11 AST | 3 STL | 56.7 FPS

The superstar guard was nothing short of sensational in today’s win. He was locked in offensively, shooting 5-for-6 on two-pointers and also going 7-for-7 from the line to lead both teams in scoring. He also came up huge in the fourth quarter, knocking down a clutch four-point shot to put his team in the lead. With the win, the Road Warriors are now the No. 1 team in the league, and Bolick has been a big reason for that.

Clinton Daniel Chapman MAG PF 31 PTS | 8 REB | 6 AST | 54.6 FPS

Coming off a lackluster performance against Rain or Shine, Chapman bounced back in a big way today, shooting efficiently from everywhere on the court to match the game-high in scoring. He was equally impressive on other areas, especially on defense, where he finished with a team-high in blocks.

Jaylen Rashawn Johnson ROS C 17 PTS | 15 REB | 8 AST | 51.0 FPS

This was another subpar showing for the big man, who continues to labor offensively. He shot just 6-for-15 from the floor and finished under the 20-point mark for the third time in four games. In addition to his poor shooting, his turnovers continue to be a major issue, as he has averaged five over the last three games.

Andy Mark Barroca MAG PG 11 REB  | 7 AST | 2 STL | 32.7 FPS

The veteran guard didn’t do much scoring today but he more than made up for it with his contributions in other categories. He finished with a conference-high in rebounding today while also leading the team in assists.

Jerom Lastimosa MAG PG 16 PTS | 4 REB | 6 AST | 31.8 FPS

Lastimosa has been playing really well lately and he kept it going today. He was effective offensively, shooting 6-for-8 on two-pointers to reach the double digit scoring mark for the fifth straight game while making positive contributions across the board.

Javier Joaquin Gomez de Liano MAG SG 18 PTS | 5 REB | 3 AST | 30.5 FPS

Though it’s mostly been a tough conference for the wing, he reminded everyone of his caliber with today’s performance, finishing with a conference-high output on 3-for-5 shooting from the four-point range.

Adrian Clarence Nocum ROS SG 15 PTS | 3 AST | 3 STL | 28.7 FPS

The guard was excellent on both sides of the court today, though he was especially effective on offense, where he converted 7-for-11 from the field and finished as the team’s second leading scorer. Including the previous conference, this was the 11th time that he has reached that scoring output.

John Brylle Bahio NLEX C 9 PTS | 7 REB | 3 STL | 25.9 FPS

Offensively, Bahio wasn’t as effective as he was in his previous game, but he delivered when it mattered most, knocking down the game-winning shot. He was even better defensively, tying his conference-high in rebounds while finishing with a team-high in steals.

Gian Robert Mamuyac ROS SF 8 PTS | 4 REB | 6 AST | 19.8 FPS

The guard was exceptional in their win against Magnolia, finishing with his best scoring game of the conference. Today, however, it was the complete opposite, as he finished with a conference-low. Despite that, Mamuyac has been mostly solid in the tournament, averaging nearly 13 points to go along with 3.7 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.4 steals.

Deschon Winston NLX SG 7 PTS  | 7 REB | 1 STL | 19.4 FPS

Through the first weeks of the conference, Winston had been producing at a high level, averaging 18.0 points across eight games. But he hasn’t been at that same standard lately, scoring just 11 points over his last two games.

Paul John Lee MAG SG 9 PTS  | 1 REB | 5 AST | 17.7 FPS

This was another solid outing from the veteran guard, who went perfect from the line, knocking down all seven of his attempts to record his best scoring output in the last four games. He was even more impressive as a playmaker, recording 5 assists for the fourth time in five games.

Joshua Andrei Caracut ROS PG 11 PTS  | 2 REB | 1 STL | 16.9 FPS

Over a three-game stretch recently, Caracut has been productive on the offensive end. He hasn’t been near that level in his past two games, but he turned things around today, finishing with his third double-digit scoring game of the tournament.

Yukien Andrada MAG SF 11 PTS | 3 REB | 1 AST | 14.1 FPS

The rookie forward made his presence felt on the offensive end, shooting efficiently from the field and finishing with a conference-best in points. In the Phil. Cup, he’s also had a few of these performances, highlighting his scoring potential.

Leonard Santillan ROS PF 9 PTS | 4 REB | 13.8 FPS

Over the past few years, the forward has established himself as one of the team’s main contributors. However, this has been a largely underwhelming conference for him. Through ten games, he’s averaged just 4.5 points and 4.9 rebounds per game.

Michael John Malonzo ROS PF 8 PTS | 3 REB | 1 AST | 11.9 FPS

The forward has been a steady part of the rotation this conference and while he doesn’t contribute much on the scoreboard, his impact on the court has been mostly positive.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT OF THE DAY:

Fran Louie Yu TGR PG 3 PTS | 1 REB | 7 AST | 13.7 FPS

The point guard couldn’t match his level from their previous two games, where he nearly totaled 50 points. He never found his range today, shooting 0-for-6 from the field and finishing with his worst scoring game since the start of the tournament. Still, he was impactful, matching the game-high in assists.
