Here are the players who made the biggest impact on October 11 and the stats to prove it.

TOP PERFORMERS OF THE DAY:

Juan Gerardo Gomez De Liaño CON PG 32 PTS | 12 REB | 13 AST | 66.9 FPS

The Converge rookie was on a completely different level today, putting up an outstanding stat line across the board. He was almost unstoppable offensively, shooting a blistering 12-for-14 from the field for his best scoring game of the conference. He also thrived in the secondary categories, leading all players in both rebounds and assists while also recording his fourth career triple-double.

Calvin Abueva CON PF 15 PTS | 6 AST | 4 STL | 41.8 FPS

The veteran forward stepped up big today, putting up a complete two-way performance. Offensively, he was sharp from two, converting 5-of-9 attempts and finishing third in the game in assists. He was equally impressive on defense, providing solid rebounding value while posting a conference-high in steals.

Tirrell Dwayne Brown II TGR PF 31 PTS | 9 REB | 2 AST | 41.8 FPS

Brown continues to dominate the scoring end, shooting 65% from the field against Converge to finish with his fourth 30-point performance of the tournament. Overall, however, he was less productive today, committing three turnovers and finishing with zero defensive stats for the first time in the conference.

Cameron Clark CON PF 30 PTS | 3 REB | 2 STL | 41.1 FPS

Clark spearheaded the offensive charge, scoring 15 big points in just the first quarter to push his team in front. In just three games this conference, Clark has already established himself as a major scoring force, averaging 29.6 points on 60.7% shooting from two-point range.

Justine Baltazar CON PF 20 PTS | 11 REB | 1 BLK | 40.7 FPS

Baltazar made his presence felt inside the paint, converting 7-of-13 on two-pointers while grabbing seven offensive rebounds for his second 20-10 outing in the conference. Through ten games in the tournament, the forward has produced at a high level, averaging 14.7 points on 57.5% shooting from two and 53% shooting from three with 8.6 rebounds per game.

Zavier Lucero MAG SF 21 PTS | 9 REB | 2 STL | 37.8 FPS

Lucero led the charge offensively against Ginebra, shooting efficiently from the field for his third 20-point outing of the conference while also finishing second overall in rebounding. In two games against the Kings this conference, he dominated, averaging 22.5 points on 12-for-20 shooting from two and 6-for-12 shooting from three with 9.5 rebounds.

Joshua Eugene Munzon TGR SF 22 PTS | 5 REB | 5 AST | 36.5 FPS

Munzon was off to a blazing start against Converge, scoring 19 big points in the first half. However, he was unable to match that level, managing just three points afterwards. Still, he put together a strong overall performance, shooting 4-for-7 from three to record his second 20-point game of the conference while also contributing in other areas.

KJ Buffen MAG SF 14 PTS | 10 REB | 2 BLK | 34.5 FPS

By his standards this tournament, this was a quiet performance for the import. He made a modest impact offensively, shooting just 5-for-10 from the field and finishing below the 20-point mark for the first time in eight games. Still, he has mostly performed at a high level this conference and should bounce back with stronger games moving forward.

Jordan Bernard Murphy GIN PF 18 PTS | 7 REB | 3 AST | 31.9 FPS

Following his explosive showing against Rain or Shine, Murphy had a much quieter offensive performance today. Though he got off to a strong start with 11 points in the opening quarter, he struggled to maintain that pace, managing just seven more points the rest of the way on a rough 5-for-18 shooting from the field. Still, he made up for his struggles with a well-rounded performance.

Jerom Lastimosa MAG PG 16 PTS | 3 REB | 7 AST | 29.1 FPS

Offensively, Lastimosa has been on point over their last three games, averaging 23.6 points on 24-for-36 shooting from two-point range. He was at it again today, going 5-for-7 on two-pointers to finish as one of the team’s top scorers while also recording a team-high in assists.

Andy Mark Barroca MAG PG 15 PTS | 4 AST | 1 STL | 25.2 FPS

This was another solid outing for the veteran guard. Barroca came through offensively, knocking down timely baskets and shooting efficiently from the field to finish among the game’s top scorers. Through eight games this conference, the veteran has been a steady presence for his team, averaging 10.5 points on 53.8% shooting from two, along with 4.6 assists per game.

Fran Louie Yu TGR PG 4 PTS | 13 AST | 1 STL | 24.7 FPS

Though he was quiet offensively, Yu still impacted the game in a major way, matching the game-high in assists. He continues to be one the best playmakers in the league this conference, averaging 6.7 assists per outing.

Peter Alfaro III MAG PG 12 PTS | 2 STL | 18.0 FPS

The sophomore guard came up big against Ginebra, turning in his best scoring performance of the conference. Having made just one three-pointer in six attempts over his first seven games, he turned things around today, going a perfect 4-for-4 from three in the first half.

Rhon Jay Abarrientos GIN PG 12 PTS | 2 REB | 5 TO | 10.9 FPS

This was a clear step down from his recent performances. After reaching the 20-point mark in three of his last four games, the Kings guard cooled down considerably against Magnolia, finishing with fewer than 15 points for the fifth time in the conference.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT OF THE DAY:

Jeth Troy Rosario GIN PF 3 PTS | 3 REB | 1 AST | 8.1 FPS

In their previous win against Rain or Shine, Rosario provided a major spark offensively, posting a new conference-high. He struggled to maintain that level today, however, finishing with his lowest scoring game of the tournament while also contributing little in other areas.
