TOP PERFORMERS OF THE DAY:

Jordan Bernard Murphy GIN PF 22 PTS | 9 REB | 2 STL | 42.8 FPS

Murphy continues to get the job done for Ginebra. Except for his turnovers, he had an excellent game overall, producing strong value across multiple areas. Through four games, he’s been a steady hand offensively for the Kings, averaging 24.5 points while shooting 50% from two-point range.

Jhonard Clarito ROS PF 18 PTS | 11 REB | 5 AST | 39.7 FPS

Clarito finished the elimination round with a bang, putting up conference-best numbers in multiple areas. Offensively, he took over in the second half, pouring in 16 points to lead his team to victory. He was equally impressive in the secondary categories, collecting four offensive boards for a game-high in total rebounds while also finishing second in assists.

Luis Villegas ROS C 10 PTS | 7 REB | 7 AST | 34.9 FPS

The big man was instrumental in their win against the Phoenix. Offensively, he was excellent, knocking down three triples for his third 10+point game of the conference. He also contributed strongly in the secondary categories, matching his conference-best in rebounds while leading all players in assists.

Michael John Malonzo ROS PF 13 PTS | 10 REB | 2 STL | 31.0 FPS

This was the third time in his last four games that Malonzo hit the double digit scoring mark. He also made a much bigger impact today with a conference-high in rebounds. Malonzo has established himself as one of the key contributors of Rain or Shine this conference and should continue to play a vital role in the playoffs.

Adrian Clarence Nocum ROS SG 17 PTS | 2 AST | 2 STL | 27.4 FPS

Nocum made his mark once more, shooting 70 % from the field and finishing as one of his team’s top scorers. This conference, he has taken a big step forward on the offensive end, averaging 18.3 points while shooting 57.4 % on two‑pointers and 39 % from three.

Earl Scottie Thompson GIN SF 10 PTS | 4 REB | 6 AST | 25.8 FPS

Thompson played just 15 minutes against Blackwater but he made his presence felt with a well-rounded performance. He was perfect on the field, finished with a game-high in assists and also committed just a single turnover.

Gian Robert Mamuyac PHX PG 16 PTS | 5 REB | 3 AST | 24.5 FPS

Though he struggled against Ginebra, Mamuyac got back on track today, finishing as one of the team’s leading scorers. In eight games for Phoenix this conference, Mamuyac averaged 10  points on 47% shooting.

Francis Gabriel Escandor PHX SF 16 PTS | 2 REB | 2 AST | 24.4 FPS

Escandor stepped up into the starting lineup against ROS and provided a major scoring boost. Though he struggled from two, going 0-for-5, he made up for it from long range, knocking down five triples to set a new conference-high.

Jeth Troy Rosario GIN PF 17 PTS | 4 REB | 1 AST | 22.3 FPS

Rosario came up huge against Phoenix. He led the way offensively for the Kings, dropping 15 points in the opening half before finishing with a new conference-high.

Rhon Jay Abarrientos GIN PG 14 PTS | 2 REB | 3 AST | 20.9 FPS

Despite the limited minutes, the sophomore guard made a positive impact offensively against Blackwater. He was on target from deep, knocking down 4-of-7 attempts to finish as one of the game’s leading scorers.

Felix Lemetti ROS PG 11 PTS | 4 AST | 1 STL | 20.2 FPS

The sophomore guard continues to be a reliable offensive contributor for Rain or Shine. In each of his last three games, he finished with double-digit points while also averaging two three-pointers and 3.7 assists.

Sedrick Barefield BWB PG 12 PTS | 1 REB | 3 AST | 17.7 FPS

In his last three games, Barefield has played at an elite level, averaging 28.6 points and 3.0 three‑pointers while going 29‑for‑37 from the free‑throw line. Though he did not quite match that standard today, he still hit a conference-high four triples.

Jeremiah Gray GIN SG 11 PTS | 4 REB | 1 AST | 17.3 FPS

For the first time in this conference, Gray finished with consecutive double-digit scoring games. While he had a difficult time from two, converting just 1-of-8, he compensated from long range, knocking down 3-of-5.

Leonard Santillan ROS PF 13 PTS | 4 REB | 1 AST | 17.3 FPS

Santillan gave his team a strong scoring spark off the bench. He caught fire in the second quarter, knocking down three triples and scoring all of his points to give his team the lead before finishing with a conference-high.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT OF THE DAY:

Stephen Jeffrey Holt GIN SG 4 REB | 2 AST | 1 STL | 10.8 FPS

Things have looked rough for Holt lately. He hit a new low today, going scoreless after averaging just 5.5 points per game over his previous two outings, and has now made just two of his last 13 shots from the field.
