The Minnesota Timberwolves (21-18) took control in the fourth quarter, pulling away with a 120-106 victory against the Washington Wizards (6-32) on January 14.

Minnesota Timberwolves Top Performers:

Anthony Edwards 41 PTS | 6 REB | 7 AST | 63.7 FPS

Edwards has transformed into a completely different beast this month, delivering his fourth 32+ point performance. He’s been lethal from beyond the arc, hitting 4+ three-pointers in five of his last six games, while adding solid rebounds, sharp playmaking, and a surge in steals.

Julius Randle 20 PTS | 10 REB | 3 AST | 33.5 FPS

Randle has been a steady contributor in his last three games, nearly putting up three straight 20-point, 10-rebound performances.

Naz Reid 12 PTS | 5 REB | 3 STL | 31.5 FPS

Reid has been outstanding this month, reaching double figures in all but one game. His overall numbers have been solid, but it’s his rising defensive stats that have truly set him apart.

Mike Conley 7 PTS | 5 REB | 4 AST | 21.0 FPS

Conley has logged 20+ minutes in five of his last six games, contributing a three-pointer, some rebounds, and assists. But his overall production remains underwhelming, making him a drop candidate in smaller leagues.

Jaden McDaniels 8 PTS | 8 REB | 1 BLK | 18.6 FPS

McDaniels couldn’t replicate his 21-point outburst against Memphis, but his defensive contributions and rebounding have stood out in recent games.

Washington Wizards Top Performers:

Kyle Kuzma 22 PTS | 5 REB | 3 STL | 43.5 FPS

Kuzma’s return from a rib injury has been a rollercoaster ride. He started hot but has since gone cold, struggling with his shooting and overall impact. But he bounced back with his best all-around performance today.

Jordan Poole 20 PTS | 7 REB | 4 AST | 38.4 FPS

Poole has been terrific this month, aside from a quiet outing against the Thunder. He’s averaged 24.5 points, nearly 5 threes per game, and missed just once at the line in his last four. Washington faces a challenging West Coast trip ahead, but Poole should shine in these matchups.

Alex Sarr 13 PTS | 2 STL | 2 BLK | 35.1 FPS

Sarr is shooting poorly for his position but has consistently cracked double-digit points in 15 of his last 16 games. He’s been a standout rebounder, and his game continues to grow with a noticeable uptick in assists in recent outings.

Jonas Valanciunas 8 PTS | 8 REB | 2 STL | 29.6 FPS

Valanciunas has played under 20 minutes in three straight games but remained highly productive, averaging 8.3 rebounds and 8.3 points.

Bilal Coulibaly 15 PTS | 3 AST | 1 STL | 21.7 FPS

Coulibaly’s production has cooled since Kuzma’s return, with just three double-digit point games, two outings with five rebounds, and one with six assists in his last seven. But he’s kept his minutes steady and has been contributing more in defensive stats.

Biggest Disappointment of the Game:

Donte DiVincenzo 13 PTS | 3-11 3PT | 3 REB

DiVincenzo’s production dipped back to his usual level after a recent stretch of strong numbers. He remains a strong shooter and steals contributor.
