The 2024–25 PVL All-Filipino Conference continued on Saturday with a double-header featuring teams at the middle of the pack and teams at the bottom of the standings. Here’s a recap of the action:

Nxled Whips Galeries, Snaps 15-Match Losing Streak

The losing streak is over.

After 15 straight losses dating back to last season, the Nxled Chameleons are finally winners after dispatching the Galeries Tower Highrisers, 25-20, 19-25, 25-14, 25-23.

Nxled roared to seven unanswered points to start the match and set the tempo en route to a big first set victory. The Chameleons, however, would stumble in the second set but recovered in the last two, with May Luna-Lumahan clinching the match with a soft hit.

It was pure joy for the Chameleons, who got 12 points from Luna-Lumahan and 14 from Chiara Permentilla to notch their first win in the 2024–25 PVL All-Filipino Conference.

Jho Maraguinot fired 14 for the Hightowers, who fell to 1-8.

Choco Mucho Beats Akari, Behind Sisi Rondina

Sisi Rondina fired a team-high 18 points on 17 attacks to lead the Choco Mucho Flying Titans to a 21-25, 25-19, 25-23, 25-15 victory over the Akari Chargers.

Dindin Manabat backstopped Rondina with 12 points, while Isa Molde added eight markers. Maika Ortiz and Cherry Nunag put up five points each for the Flying Titans.

Ivy Lacsina matched Rondina’s 18-point output to lead the Chargers, who were undone by their 37 unforced errors as compared to just 19 from Choco Mucho. Faith Nisperos and Fifi Sharma added 13 and 10, respectively.

With the win, Choco Mucho strengthened its bid for the playoffs by climbing to 6-3—the same record as the Cignal HD Spikers and PLDT High Speed Hitters. Akari, on the other hand, fell to 5-5, same as the Chery Tiggo Crossovers.
