The Oklahoma City Thunder (46-10) squandered a 19-point advantage but recovered to prevail over the Minnesota Timberwolves (31-27) with a convincing 130-123 victory on February 24.

Oklahoma City Thunder Top Performers:

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander 37 PTS | 8 REB | 8 AST | 71.6 FPS

SGA was everywhere in this game, posting impressive numbers across all categories and solidifying his status as a top fantasy asset, second only to the Joker. He’s been on a remarkable run, exceeding 30 points in 34 of his 55 games this season.  He’s also recorded 8 or more assists in five of his last six games.  Defensively, he’s been equally dominant, racking up 10 stocks in his last two games.

Jalen Williams 18 PTS | 9 AST | 3 STL | 44.1 FPS

JDub has failed to score 20 points in his last two games, but his shooting percentages remain strong, and he continues to excel defensively and in all other aspects of the game.

Chet Holmgren 19 PTS | 4 REB | 3 BLK | 33.3 FPS

Holmgren continues his strong play, posting around 20 points on efficient shooting while piling up blocks in his last two games. However, he’s still under injury management and will likely continue sitting out back-to-back games.

Isaiah Hartenstein 12 PTS | 9 REB | 5 AST | 29.3 FPS

Hartenstein remains a strong contender for double-doubles, consistently scoring and rebounding well. He’s also a valuable contributor on defense and has noticeably improved his playmaking abilities lately, even with less court time due to Holmgren returning.

Alex Caruso 11 PTS | 7 REB | 2 STL | 27.4 FPS

Caruso has been a strong two-way contributor in his two games since the break. He’s also a decent streaming option for steals in deeper leagues, though his playing time and value remains limited due to the team’s depth.

Minnesota Timberwolves Top Performers:

Anthony Edwards 29 PTS | 10 REB | 7 AST | 52.5 FPS

Edwards continues to shine as an all-around threat while maintaining his explosive scoring. However, his efficiency remains a concern with ongoing struggles in field goal, three-point, and free-throw percentages. His status is also worth monitoring after spraining his ankle in the game.

Naz Reid 22 PTS | 11 REB | 4 BLK | 48.2 FPS

Reid has been outstanding as a starter, recording his fifth 20+ point game in his last six while providing strong rebounding and defensive value. However, with Randle returning, he’s likely to shift back to the bench and see a dip in both minutes and production, though he should still be a valuable contributor.

Jaylen Clark 14 PTS | 1 REB | 4 STL | 27.2 FPS

Clark has been a defensive force, tallying 7 steals in two games since the break. He struggled offensively in recent outings but bounced back with an efficient performance today. However, he suffered an injury and will miss tomorrow’s game, with the possibility of more time off.

Nickeil Alexander-Walker 18 PTS | 4-7 3PT | 2 AST | 23.4 FPS

NAW has performed exceptionally well offensively since the break, averaging 17 points while shooting over 50% and hitting at least four three-pointers per game. With the team still dealing with injuries, he could see even more opportunities tomorrow.

Mike Conley 9 PTS | 2 REB | 5 AST | 17.9 FPS

Conley’s impact has been primarily limited to his playmaking and his minutes are expected to drop with DiVincenzo returning.

Biggest Disappointment of the Game:

Jaden McDaniels 17 PTS | 5-15 FG | 1-6 3PT

McDaniels has been scoring around 20 points recently while staying active on defense. However, his shooting remains a concern, going 1-for-6 or worse from three in three straight games, with his overall efficiency dipping. His production in other areas is also expected to take a hit with Randle’s return.
