The Golden State Warriors (46-31) surged ahead in the third quarter and never looked back, rolling to their fifth-straight win with a dominant 118-104 performance against the Denver Nuggets (47-31) on April 5.

Denver Nuggets Top Performers:

Nikola Jokic 33 PTS | 12 REB | 9 AST | 60.9 FPS

Jokic returned after a one-game absence and continued his dominant play, posting his fourth 30+ point game and nearly securing his third triple-double in his last five games. Given how well he’s been shooting lately, both from the field and from the three-point area, it’s safe to say that he’ll maintain this level of production with no trouble. The only downside is his turnovers, but his top-tier all-around game more than makes up for them.

Michael Porter Jr. 23 PTS | 9 REB | 1 BLK | 35.8 FPS

MPJ has been on a scoring tear, logging 20+ points in each of his last three games, fueled by incredible efficiency in both scoring and three-point shooting. He’s also contributed solidly in peripheral stats, though his defensive intensity has cooled off after racking up 7 stocks in his past two games. However, his hot streak will be put to test with a tough slate of matchups in the final week.

Christian Braun 16 PTS | 7 REB | 2 STL | 32.4 FPS

Braun returned to action after a one-game absence and picked up right where he left off, notching his eighth straight double-digit scoring performance. He’s been highly efficient offensively, though his limited three-point production has kept him from breaking the 20-point mark during that stretch. Still, his contributions across peripheral stats have sustained his fantasy value. With a convenient schedule in the final week, he’s poised to finish as a steady contributor. If he does sit out any games, Pickett is the next man up for an expanded role.

Aaron Gordon 15 PTS | 8 AST | 1 BLK | 29.4 FPS

Gordon returned today after missing a game and maintained a decent performance in scoring, but he further boosted his output with a perfect 7-for-7 performance from the line. He also continues to add value to his stat-line with his improved playmaking, though his rebounding remains inconsistent. He’s still dealing with some injuries, so there’s a chance he will continue to miss games, which could give Watson more playing time.

Russell Westbrook 5 PTS | 4 REB | 1 BLK | 14.8 FPS

Russ returned to the second unit with several key players back in the lineup and struggled badly, posting his worst scoring performance in nearly a month. His overall production has also dipped across the board, though he remained active defensively, recording 2+ stocks in each of his last four games. While he’s likely to remain in a bench role moving forward, he still has the upside to deliver solid numbers relative to his position.

Golden State Warriors Top Performers:

Stephen Curry 36 PTS | 7 3PM | 5 AST | 49.9 FPS

Curry appeared on the injury report with a pelvis issue but played through it without missing a beat. Over his last three games, he’s been explosive—averaging 41.6 points, 7.6 made threes, and hitting 24 of 25 free throws, all while making impactful contributions in multiple areas, especially as a playmaker. While it’s unlikely he maintains this torrid pace against a defensively stout Rockets squad, he should still be able to provide strong value for his position.

Brandin Podziemski 26 PTS | 8 REB | 6 AST | 47.6 FPS

Podziemski has caught fire, posting back-to-back 26+ point performances while averaging six threes on elite shooting percentages. His rebounding and playmaking have been strong too, making him a well-rounded fantasy asset. With favorable matchups in the final week and a dense schedule—three games in four days starting with the Rockets—he’s a strong add for anyone looking to capitalize on his momentum.

Jimmy Butler 19 PTS | 5 AST | 5 STL | 44.1 FPS

Butler was listed as questionable with a forearm injury but suited up and delivered his trademark two-way impact. While his offensive output has declined recently—partly due to struggles from three -point area and lower production from the line—he’s compensated with stronger effort on defense, averaging nearly 4 steals in his last four outings.

Draymond Green 8 PTS | 3 REB | 3 AST | 20.1 FPS

Green saw an uptick in his numbers in his last two games but took a step back today. Still, he remained fantasy-relevant by continuing to fill up the stat sheet across multiple categories. That said, his ongoing offensive struggles—paired with persistent foul trouble and turnover issues—continue to weigh down his overall value. Even so, he should remain a useful contributor over the team’s remaining games.

Kevon Looney 7 PTS | 7 REB | 1 STL | 21.4 FPS

Looney remains a dependable contributor for his position but the team’s depth continues to limit both his playing time and fantasy value.

Biggest Disappointment of the Game:

Jonathan Kuminga 6 PTS | 1 REB | 1 AST

Kuminga had been a consistent double-digit scorer since returning from a two-month absence. That run was halted when a pelvis injury sidelined him for a game but the concerns were alleviated after coming back stronger with his best overall performance in their recent win over the Lakers. However, he struggled badly today and wasn’t able to do much to offset the rough outing. Moving forward, he’s expected to remain in a limited bench role, which caps his upside. He may also continue to face difficulties against the Rockets but more favorable matchups in the final week should give him a chance to turn things around.
