The Miami Heat (36-43) broke the game wide open with a fierce fourth-quarter run and got back to the win column with a 117-105 win against the Philadelphia 76ers (23-56) on April 8.

Philadelphia 76ers Top Performers:

Quentin Grimes 29 PTS | 8 REB | 6 AST | 47.6 FPS

Grimes stepped up into a much larger offensive role with the team giving up on the season. Since he’s a restricted free agent in the offseason, there’s no better time for him to prove himself. He’s been playing at a very high level in recent weeks, scoring 22+ points in thirteen of his last fourteen games, all while maintaining solid impact in the secondary categories. That said, expect him to close the season on a high note, flirting with 40 fantasy points in each of their final three games.

Adem Bona 16 PTS | 11 REB | 3 BLK | 38.7 FPS

Bona has been a steady source of fantasy value at the C position lately, thanks to his impactful two-way play. He’s scored in double figures in four recent games, including a near-30-point outing, while also providing strong rebounding and rim protection—posting three or more blocks in six of his last seven games. While foul trouble and occasional high-turnover games remain concerns, his overall production continues to outweigh the drawbacks, keeping his fantasy floor solid.

Lonnie Walker IV 29 PTS | 1 REB | 2 AST | 31.2 FPS

Walker has been getting steady minutes recently and turned it up today, scoring 20+ points for the third time since last month—though he was quiet in other areas.  However, he’s already proven he can impact the game in multiple ways and should have a more well-rounded showing against the Wizards. He should reach 30 fantasy points easily but as long as Edwards is unavailable.

Jared Butler 8 PTS | 4 AST | 4 STL | 29.6 FPS

Butler has been a mainstay in the starting lineup. While some inconsistency is inevitable, he’s mostly made solid contributions for the SG spot. He’s scored 14+ points in six of his last eight games, with good playmaking value and steady steal numbers.

Colin Castleton 4 PTS | 6 REB | 3 AST | 15.7 FPS

Castleton has provided 15+ fantasy points in each of his last two games despite minimal minutes.

Miami Heat Top Performers:

Kel’el Ware 19 PTS | 17 REB | 1 BLK | 48.4 FPS

Ware bounced back in emphatic fashion today, posting his career-high in rebounds after a sluggish showing in their loss to the Bucks. He now leads all rookies this season with four games of 15+ rebounds and six games with at least 13 points and 13 rebounds. Despite those impressive marks, he hasn’t been as productive lately—scoring in single digits in four of his last seven outings. With three of the team’s top players dealing with injuries, Ware’s continued high-level production will be crucial for their playoff hopes.

Davion Mitchell 12 PTS | 4 REB | 9 AST | 35.3 FPS

Mitchell remains a consistent offensive force off the bench, delivering double-digit points in 10 of his last 11 games. His scoring has been complemented by sharp playmaking and regular contributions on the defensive end through steals. Though he struggled in his first three matchups against the Bulls this season, his recent performance suggests he can still provide quality fantasy value at the PG position.

Kyle Anderson 8 PTS | 8 REB | 6 AST | 31.6 FPS

Slow Mo has taken on a much larger role over the past two games and has made the most of it, delivering solid scoring and rebounding performances along with some contributions in other areas. With momentum on his side, he has a strong chance to post 25 or more fantasy points against the Bulls.

Pelle Larsson 12 PTS | 3 REB | 3 STL | 27.6 FPS

Larsson continues to start and should maintain it as long as Wiggins is unavailable. He’s been struggling in offense in his last two games but broke out of it today, scoring in double-digits for the fourth time in his last six, all while contributing modest numbers in multiple areas. He’s also put up at least 20 fantasy points in four of his last five games.

Duncan Robinson 21 PTS | 2 REB | 1 BLK | 27.9 FPS

Robinson has played a solid role in the rotation over the last two games, taking advantage of injuries to key players. He delivered another strong offensive performance today and should remain a valuable contributor, capable of putting up 20 or more fantasy points as long as those players remain sidelined.

Biggest Disappointment of the Game:

Tyler Herro 20 PTS | 5 REB | 7 TO

Herro returned to the lineup today after missing the previous game with a thigh issue. Offensively, he continues to perform at a high level, although he couldn’t do the same in other categories. While he’s not necessarily turnover-prone, he does have a tendency to rack up high turnover numbers—recording 6 or more in eight games this season. Still, with his consistent offensive game and with key players sidelines, his production is unlikely to go under 35 fantasy points in the coming games.
