With the Milwaukee Bucks booted out of the 2025 NBA Playoffs after just five games, it’s safe to say former league MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo has a lot of time in his hands—or at least more compared to when the Bucks were still playing. Over the weekend, he used some of that time to get active on X (formerly Twitter) and answer questions from fans and X users in general.
Needless to say, the Q&A was as random as it was entertaining. To a degree, it could even be described as enlightening as the Greek Freak shared his thoughts on a wide variety of topics—including his choice for Greatest of All-Time, favorite color, views on Mexican food, and his “record time in changing diaper.”
Giannis Antetokounmpo Dishes on Basketball Stuff
Naturally, lots of fans asked Giannis his thoughts about basketball-related matters, with questions like “Favorite All-Star Game moment?” and “Who is the greatest player of all time?” And the Greek Freak answered like a true pro, offering up an inside look at what goes through the mind of one of the game’s best active players.
For his choice as the greatest player of all time or GOAT, Giannis went for either Michael Jordan or LeBron James—with the intriguing qualifier “for now” added in the end. Maybe the former champ knows something we don’t?
Asked who is his all-time starting five, Giannis listed Jordan and LeBron, along with Steph Curry, Kobe Bryant, and Kevin Durant.
Interestingly, that wasn’t the only time Giannis gave Curry some love. The Greek Freak also mentioned the four-time champ alongside Magic Johnson and Isiah Thomas as his answer to the question “Who is the greatest point guard of all time?”
The Greek Freak also described Curry, along with Damian Lillard, as the greatest shooters of all time when he was asked his thoughts on No. 30.
Giannis Antetokounmpo Answers Non-Basketball Stuff, Too
The nine-time All-Star, though, wasn’t just asked about hoops. He was also asked about pretty much anything under the sun, and he gamely answered quite a few as well. For instance, Giannis was asked his favorite meal, video game, and music genre of all time. His answers, respectively, were Gyros with chicken, FIFA and God of War, and heavy metal.
The impromptu Q&A surely gave a glimpse of Giannis Antetokounmpo as a basketball player and as a regular, everyday person. Among the notable things he shared that fans might have not known just yet about him are:
- He doesn’t like sports cars.
- He loves Mexican food but doesn’t like chicken and pizza.
- Jo Malone Cypress and Grapevine are his favorite perfumes.
- Sky blue is his favorite color.
- He’s a big fan of football sensation Lamine Yamal.
Now, as for his record time in changing diapers? He says it’s 34 seconds. From the looks of it, it appears Giannis Antetokounmpo’s diaper-changing skills need a lot of work—for now.
