After sliding down to the fourth spot, the Alas Pilipinas men’s volleyball team will try to make a comeback to the podium in the second leg of the 2025 SEA Men’s V.League in Jakarta, Indonesia, from July 16-20.
Five teams are still participating in the second leg of the 2025 edition: defending champions Thailand, silver-medalists Indonesia, newly-crowned bronze medalists Vietnam, the Philippines, and Cambodia.
The five countries will play in a single round-robin elimination. Since there are no playoffs, the final rankings of the tournament will be determined after the elimination round based on points gained.
A team that wins in straight sets or in four sets will receive three points, while winning in five sets will earn one point. A team that loses in straight sets or in four sets will not receive any points, while a team that loses in five sets will earn one point.
If a match is forfeited, the winner will receive three points, while no points will be awarded to the losers.
