Unbeaten Filipino boxer Criztian Laurente is up for what could be his biggest fight yet—a title defense in Australia this coming October. The young prospect will be defending his IBF Pan Pacific lightweight crown in said fight, although his opponent and the full details of the event are still being finalized as of this writing.
Laurente is currently 16‑0, with 10 knockouts, and is looking to prove he is ready for the big stage. To ensure he is in peak condition, Laurente is undergoing high‑altitude training in Baguio City as he prepares for his title defense. The fight carries great meaning for the young boxer, who wants to represent the country and set an example for fellow Filipinos at the same time.
“This fight means a lot—not just for my record, but for the Philippines,” Laurente said. “Every time I step into the ring overseas, I’m defending more than my title, I represent the whole country and set an example to many.”
The 26‑year‑old will enter his October defense with momentum, having scored a technical knockout over countryman Jing Guan back in June in General Santos City.

The partnership between Laurente and Goodies Nutrition was made official recently in a signing ceremony at the Golden Boy Boxing Gym in Parañaque.
