Here are the top performers on April 19 and the stats to highlight their impact.

BEST PLAYER OF THE DAY:

LeBron James LAL SF 19 PTS | 8 REB | 13 AST | 55.1 FPS (vs. HOU)

James continues to be a force in the league, leading the way with a near triple-double performance. This was the 18th time this year he has reached double-digit assists, and he also made history by becoming the oldest player in league history to record at least 10 assists in a playoff game. With two of their stars sidelined, James should be in line for more of these performances throughout the series.

BREAKOUT:

Luke Kennard LAL SG 27 PTS | 4 REB | 3 AST | 33.3 FPS (vs. HOU)

This was the type of performance the team was hoping for, and Kennard delivered exactly that. He was lethal offensively, shooting 9-for-13 from the field, including 5-for-5 from distance, to lead all players in scoring while also posting his best scoring game of the year.

SLEEPER:

Tari Eason HOU PF 16 PTS | 10 REB | 3 STL | 39.0 FPS (vs. LAL)

Eason returned to the starting lineup today and took full advantage, making a significant impact on both ends of the floor. Offensively, he was a perfect 7-for-7 from the field, recording his fourth 15-point game of the month. He was equally impressive on defense, finishing with his eighth double-digit rebounding performance of the year.

ELITE ASSET:

Jamal Murray DEN PG 30 PTS | 5 REB | 7 AST | 44.5 FPS (vs. MIN)

Offensively, it was a bit of an uneven game for the star guard. While he was perfect from the line, converting all 16 of his attempts, he struggled from deep, missing all eight tries. His three-point shooting has been up and down throughout the year, but he still produced at an elite level, finishing the regular season 5th in total threes and also 6th in total points.

CATEGORY SPECIALIST:

James Harden CLE SG 22 PTS | 10 AST | 2 STL | 41.4 FPS (vs. TOR)

Harden has firmly established himself as one of the league’s premier offensive players this season, ranking 14th in total points, 15th in total threes and 4th in total assists. He delivered at that level again today, recording his 48th 20-point outing and his 20th double-digit assist game of the year.

PLAYER TO WATCH:

Bruce Brown DEN SG 8 PTS | 7 REB | 5 STL | 34.9 FPS (vs. MIN)

The veteran guard finished the regular season strongly, averaging 12.3 points on 67% shooting, along with 6.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists and nearly two steals over a three-game span. He carried that momentum today, making a big impact across the board—particularly on defense, where he recorded a season-high in steals.

STREAMER:

Marcus Smart LAL PG 15 PTS | 8 AST | 2 BLK | 33.4 FPS (vs. HOU)

Smart stepped up today, producing solid numbers in many areas. However, he was far from efficient, shooting 1-for-5 from three and going 4-for-8 at the line while also leading both teams in turnovers. Nevertheless, with both Doncic and Reaves still out, Smart should continue to play a heavy role in the series.

FLOPPER:

Mikal Bridges NYK SF 11 PTS | 2 REB | 1 STL | 16.9 FPS (vs. ATL)

Bridges had a decent game offensively, but that was about it. While he’s been a solid contributor for the most part of the year, inconsistency has continued to be an issue. Despite that, he remains a capable two-way presence, which will be crucial for the team moving forward.
