The PBA will be hosting another PBA On Tour as the league brings exhibition games to different provinces around the country while the current Governors’ Cup remains on a break. The league had previously held the same in 2023 as part of the preseason heading into Season 48.
Nine Teams to Participate in PBA On Tour
As the Gilas Pilipinas squad prepares for its upcoming campaign at the 20th Asian Games in Japan, the PBA has taken action to give its players an opportunity to continue playing basketball.
PBA On Tour games are purely exhibition matches, and the results will not affect the teams’ current records in the Governors’ Cup, which was last played on August 14.
The participating teams in this event are Rain or Shine Elasto Painters, Converge FiberXers, TNT Tropang 5G, Blackwater Bossing, Meralco Bolts, San Miguel Beermen, Phoenix Fuel Masters, Magnolia Hotshots, and NLEX Road Warriors.
It is yet to be revealed whether the imports of each team will be given a chance to participate in these non‑bearing games, but the league has allowed both the practice and reserve players of each team to play.
