Series Outlook

The OKC Thunder are far and away the best team in the NBA this season, and for good reason — they have a wealth of talent and depth throughout all five positions, and they have the reigning MVP on their side.

As for San Antonio, many NBA fans have viewed the Spurs as the only team capable of preventing the Thunder from reaching the Finals, simply because of Wembanyama’s mere presence. But with their young talent showing their teeth to steal Game 1 from the Thunder, we think this is going to be a surefire seven-game series.

With that being said, the defending champs deserve the respect, and OKC is still our pick to advance to the Finals — at least for now.
