After months of speculation about his future following his departure from the San Beda Red Lions, Agjanti Miller has finally made his decision—he’s moving to Taft to join the La Salle Green Archers in the UAAP.
The 6-foot-4 guard confirmed the news on Wednesday with a short message on Instagram.
“Let’s do it #committed,” Miller said.
Another Red Lion-Turned-Green Archer
Prior to his departure, Agjanti Miller cemented himself as one of the Philippines’ best college hoopers.
In his lone season with the Red Lions, Miller averaged 19.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 1.2 assists to lead San Beda to the NCAA Season 101 championship.
Coincidentally, Miller is not the first player to follow this path, as former Red Lion Jacob Cortez also led his squad to the Season 99 title before transferring to the Green Archers.
If history repeats itself, the Green Archers could very well be in line for another championship in 2027, as Cortez led La Salle to the title in Season 88 after sitting out Season 87.
La Salle Stays Loaded with Agjanti Miller
Before his commitment to La Salle, Miller was also being targeted by the Ateneo Blue Eagles and UP Fighting Maroons.
His addition to the Green Archers comes at a perfect time, as Season 89 will be the final year for La Salle’s core, composed of the aforementioned Cortez, JC Macalalag, Earl Abadam, and Mason Amos.
After that, it will be Agjanti Miller’s turn to take on a starring role for the Green Archers, alongside the likes of Lebron Daep and Doy Dungo. The former Red Lion will have two seasons of eligibility after sitting out his residency period in Season 89.
