It was a lean four-game schedule around the Association on Tuesday, so we take a quick look at all of them in this NBA roundup:

Wolves Devour Lakers in Rout

Rudy Gobert and Julius Randle powered the Minnesota Timberwolves (10-10) to a 109-80 triumph over the Los Angeles Lakers (12-9) on Tuesday at Target Center.

Gobert finished with 17 points and 12 rebounds, while Randle added 16 markers. Naz Reid and Nickel Alexander-Walker chipped in 15 apiece for the Wolves, who shot 50% from the field in the rout. D’Angelo Russell was the lone bright spot for the Lakers with 20 points and 5 assists.

The Lakers have now lost five of their last seven games. Minnesota has now won back-to-back after a four-game skid.

Hawks Clip Pelicans Behind Balanced Attack

Trae Young continued his sterling play on Tuesday, leading the Atlanta Hawks (11-11) to a 124-112 victory over the freefalling New Orleans Pelicans (4-18) at State Farm Arena.

Young, who was averaging 13.5 dimes in the Hawks’s last four games, dished off a game-high 15 helpers this time around on top of 12 points and 8 boards. De’Andre Hunter came off the bench to scatter 22 markers, while Jalen Johnson and Dyson Daniels had 19 apiece. The Pelicans got 29 points from CJ McCollum and 23 from Yves Messi but were simply outgunned.

This is the Hawks’ fourth straight win, while the Pelicans have now dropped nine consecutive games.

Bulls Charge Past Nets sa Josh Giddey Fills Up Stat Sheet

Josh Giddey put up eye-popping numbers on Tuesday at the United Center as the Chicago Bulls (9-13) charged past the Brooklyn Nets (9-13), 128-102, in another rout.

Giddey had 20 points, 13 rebounds, and 11 assists for his first triple-double of the season, while Nikola Vucevic added a 20-point, 10-rebound double-double. Matas Buzelis chipped in 20 off the bench for the Bulls. Dennis Schroder had 16 points and 10 dimes for the Nets, who were without starters Cam Johnson and Dorian Finney-Smith.

The Nets have now lost three straight after winning three straight. The Bulls, on the other hand, snapped a two-game slide.

Celtics Roll to 108-89 Triumph Over Heat

The Boston Celtics (17-4) were without big men Al Horford and Kristaps Porzingis on Tuesday, but it hardly mattered as the Cs cruised to a 108-89 win against the Miami Heat (9-10) anyways.

Third-string big Luke Kornet filled in for Horford and Porzingis, with 6 points, 4 rebounds, and a season-high 6 rejections. Jaylen Brown and Peyton Pritchard took care of the Cs offense, chipping in 29 and 25 points, respectively. Jaime Jaquez Jr. and Tyler Herro each had 19 for the Heat, who played minus Jimmy Butler.
