Here are the players who made the biggest impact on July 25 and the stats to prove it.

TOP PERFORMERS OF THE DAY:

De’Vondre Perry MGP PF 32 PTS | 22 REB | 5 AST | 71.9 FPS

By almost any measure, Perry was incredible against Titan. The Macau import filled the stat sheet while also dominating both as a scorer and a rebounder. He finished with a game-high in points and his third consecutive 30-point performance, while also posting a conference-best rebounding output.

Tirrell Dwayne Brown II TGR PF 30 PTS | 14 REB | 6 AST | 68.8 FPS

Offensively, Brown led the charge in the first half by scoring nearly 20 points early on. While he wasn’t as effective late with just five points in the fourth, he still set a new conference-high in scoring. He was equally impressive on the other end, filling out his stat line with elite defensive numbers.

Justin Anthony Strings TER PF 36 PTS | 12 REB | 6 AST | 59.4 FPS

Once again, Strings dominated the paint, finishing as the game’s top scorer on 60% shooting from two while also collecting a game-high and his fifth-straight 10-rebound game. He was far from efficient, however, turning the ball over nine times.

Ramon Cao MGP C 28 PTS | 13 REB | 2 STL | 51.6 FPS

Simply put, Cao was the hero of the night. Beyond his steady offensive display—shooting 8-for-15 inside and 12-for-17 from the stripe—he took over when it mattered most, dropping 11 points in the final three minutes to complete the comeback. He was just as impressive on the boards, setting a new conference-high in rebounds.

Jenning Leung MGP SG 22 PTS | 7 AST | 4 STL | 48.6 FPS

Leung finally made his conference debut and made a big difference. Though he went scoreless in the opening quarters, he completely turned things around after the break to finish among the game’s leaders in both points and assists. Last conference, he averaged 19.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per game.

Jordan Timothy Heading TNT SG 29 PTS  | 9 REB | 4 AST | 47.8 FPS

The first two games of the conference have been ugly for Heading, but he finally delivered today, leading all local scorers. He clearly struggled from deep, going just 1-of-7 from three-point range. However, he got the job done inside the arc, converting 10-of-15 two-pointers—including the crucial basket that sent the game into OT.

Fran Louie Yu TGR PG 17 PTS | 7 REB | 14 AST | 47.4 FPS

The Titan guard got off to a strong start, posting seven points and three assists in the first quarter. He carried that momentum throughout the game, finishing with new conference highs in both points and assists. While he has lacked consistency as a scorer, he continues to stand out as a playmaker, leading the league with 8.3 assists per outing.

Joshua Eugene Munzon TGR SF 19 PTS  | 7 REB | 3 STL | 44.4 FPS

Overall, Munzon had an excellent game, posting a well-rounded stat line while committing just a single turnover. The only drawback was his offensive output. Things have been rough for him over the last few games as he’s struggled to score efficiently and today was no different—he shot 4-for-16 overall, 1-for-6 from deep, and 10-for-16 from the line.

Maverick Ahanmisi TER PG 20 PTS | 5 REB | 6 AST| 39.0 FPS

The Terrafirma guard delivered when they needed him most, knocking down a crucial three-pointer in OT to help seal the victory. Offensively, Ahanmisi has been in strong form lately, scoring right around the 20-point mark for the third time in his last four games. In other areas, he has been remarkably steady, averaging 6.8 rebounds and 7.2 assists per outing.

Roger Ray Pogoy TNT SF 23 PTS | 5 REB | 3 AST | 36.5 FPS

Pogoy made his mark offensively for TNT, starting strong with 10 first-quarter points and delivering five more in OT. With TNT now at 1-2, they are going to need more of these performances from him moving forward.

Rey Benedict Nambatac TNT PG 19 PTS | 5 REB | 4 AST | 33.0 FPS

TNT definitely needed this bounce-back effort from him. In their previous outing against Titan, only a single local managed to score at least 11 points. Nambatac was held to just five in that loss, but he responded sharply today, hitting the 19-point mark for only the third time since last conference. Still, his three-point shooting continues to be an issue, going 0-for-5 today and 2-for-11 in the conference.

Damian Chongqui MGP PG 19 PTS | 6 AST | 1 STL | 31.4 FPS

This performance was below his usual standard this conference. He was unable to find his range from deep, missing all five of his attempts, but he made up for it by going 50% from two and a perfect 9-for-9 from the free-throw line. Regardless, he continues to be a key offensive engine for Macau, posting at least 19 points for the 13th time since the previous conference.

Juan Miguel Tiongson TER PG 24 PTS | 2 AST | 1 STL| 30.0 FPS

This conference is shaping up as a true redemption arc for Tiongson. After struggling to find his place with San Miguel, averaging just 4.3 points, he has rekindled his elite form back in a familiar leading role for Terrafirma, averaging 20 points through his first five games. His offensive poise was on full display against TNT, where he converted 4-of-9 from two and an elite 5-of-7 from deep.

Kim Cyril Aurin TNT SF 18 PTS | 2 REB | 1 BLK | 23.9 FPS

The forward remained in rhythm offensively, hitting 4-of-5 from deep to finish with a new season-high in scoring. He didn’t make the same impact in other parts of the game but this performance was still a big positive for the struggling TNT.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT OF THE DAY:

Darius Days TNT SF 10 PTS | 5 REB | 1 AST | 15.5 FPS

Nothing seemed to go right for TNT’s import today. He was held scoreless in the first half and finished the third quarter with just four points while already saddled with five fouls. Through three games, Days is averaging 4.7 fouls per game–an issue that could continue to hurt TNT in the games ahead.
