Here are the players who made the biggest impact on July 26 and the stats to prove it.

TOP PERFORMERS OF THE DAY:

Aaron Craig Fuller ROS SF 37 PTS | 12 REB | 3 STL | 64.9 FPS

Fuller was simply on another level, turning in his fourth consecutive game with at least 25 points and 10 rebounds this conference. Throughout his time in the PBA, the veteran import has established himself as an imposing interior presence, and once he gets going inside, he becomes difficult to stop.

Dequan Jones NLX SF 27 PTS | 10 REB | 2 BLK | 47.5 FPS

Jones dominated the paint against SMB, hitting 8-of-12 two-pointers while also leading all players in rebounding with five offensive boards. He was also impressive on the defensive end. The only real struggle came from long range, where he shot just 1-of-8.

Riley Grigsby GIN PF 25 PTS | 9 REB | 5 AST | 46.3 FPS

The stand-in import was on fire to start the game, pouring in 13 first-quarter points after knocking down three 4-point shots. He couldn’t maintain that momentum, however, finishing 6-for-15 overall. Regardless, Grigsby made a large impact, contributing strongly in many areas.

Deschon Winston NLX SG 24 PTS | 4 AST | 3 STL | 40.8 FPS

The guard continues to roll offensively, turning in his second consecutive elite scoring performance. Over that two-game stretch, he has been sharp from two-point range, knocking down 18-of-26 attempts. Elsewhere, he also made a strong impact, showcasing his improvement as an all-around contributor.

Robert Lee Bolick NLX PG 14 PTS | 9 REB | 12 AST | 40.8 FPS

This performance was a classic display of what Bolick does best, as he finished with a near triple-double performance. Offensively, he connected from all ranges and finished again in double-digits. But he was most impressive in the secondary categories, posting conference-highs in both rebounds and assists while only committing two turnovers.

George King SMB SG 31 PTS | 8 REB | 1 STL | 36.1 FPS

NLEX did an impressive job slowing down King early on, limiting him to just four points and forcing four turnovers in the first quarter. Despite that slow start, he still managed to dominate offensively, knocking down three 3-pointers and a 4-pointer while going a perfect 8-for-8 from the free-throw line to lead all scorers.

Caelan Todd Tiongson ROS PF 21 PTS | 5 REB | 1 BLK | 30.5 FPS

Tiongson took charge for Rain or Shine against Ginebra, knocking down five triples to lead all local scorers. He has been a reliable threat from deep since last conference, when he knocked down 33-of-97 threes across 16 games, and he has carried that touch right into this campaign—averaging nearly three triples per game.

Adrian Clarence Nocum ROS SG 13 PTS | 3 REB | 10 AST | 29.6 FPS

It certainly wasn’t his most efficient performance, but Nocum was still a major factor on offense as he tallied his second double-double of the season. The shooting guard has shown a different side to his game this conference, currently ranking second in the league in assists.

Jhonard Clarito ROS PF 13 PTS | 7 REB | 2 STL | 29.4 FPS

This was a signature performance for the forward. He continues to thrive in the paint, finishing among the game’s top rebounders while providing efficient offense, shooting 5-of-8 from two-point range to set a new conference-high in scoring.

June Mar Fajardo SMB C 15 PTS | 6 REB | 2 BLK | 28.7 FPS

There haven’t been many positives for San Miguel in the first half, but the nine-time MVP remained steady, scoring 11 points. He was unable to sustain that momentum after the break, however, managing just two points apiece in each of the final quarters. While his scoring and rebounding numbers haven’t quite reached his usual towering standards, he’s still making a huge impact on the floor, ranking second in the league in blocks.

Rhon Jay Abarrientos GIN PG 13 PTS | 8 AST | 2 STL | 28.6 FPS

It has been an underwhelming start for the reigning Best Player of the Conference, who has posted subpar scoring outputs in each of his first three games. Last conference, he established himself as one of the league’s top scorers, recording at least 15 points in 21 games. He still tried to impact the game as a facilitator, setting a conference-high in assists, but his performance was far from clean, posting six turnovers.

Jeremiah Gray GIN SG 11 PTS | 3 AST | 2 STL | 20.7 FPS

Gray provided a spark on both ends of the floor against Rain or Shine. Offensively, he finally found his range from three-point area, sinking three triples after going just 1-of-8 in his first two games. It was his first double-digit scoring game of the conference and he should be up for more moving forward.

Jeth Troy Rosario GIN PF 13 PTS | 8 REB | 2 TO | 20.6 FPS

The forward was relatively quiet in his first two outings this conference, but he elevated his game today, posting conference-highs in both scoring and rebounding. He was really solid offensively, hitting 3-of-4 from two-point range plus two triples.

Celedonio Trollano SMB SF 16 PTS | 2 REB | 1 TO | 17.4 FPS

For most part of the game, Trollano struggled offensively but he found some rhythm in the fourth quarter, scoring 11 points to help his team pull closer. He has now scored in double figures in four consecutive games.

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT OF THE DAY:

Jerrick Vincent Ahanmisi SMB SG 2 PTS | 6 REB | 5 AST | 24.7 FPS

Overall, the shooting guard put together a well-rounded performance, leading the team in assists and steals while also recording a new conference-high in rebounds. Offensively, however, he’s been having a tough time lately, averaging 5.3 points on 6-for-23 shooting over his last three games.
