Despite a slow start offensively in the first quarter, King still dominated—leading all players in scoring with his sixth consecutive 30-point performance. He was at his most impressive in the fourth, where he dropped 12 points to ignite the comeback. He added six more in OT, though he missed two crucial free throws in the final seconds that ultimately cost them the game.
Jamaal Eric Franklin CON PF 26 PTS | 6 AST | 4 STL | 52.4 FPS
Overall, Franklin turned in a great performance. He contributed across the board and delivered again offensively, finishing as the game’s second-leading scorer. He just couldn’t find his range from deep today, going 1-for-9 from three, but he made up for it on defense, leading all players in steals.
Rahlir Hollis-Jefferson TNT PF 20 PTS | 13 REB | 7 AST | 46.1 FPS
It was a rough start for the returning import, who missed two open layups and went 4-for-13. Though he was able to compensate, recording eight offensive rebounds to finish the first half. Despite that, he came up big in OT, scoring seven points to seal the win. Though he hasn’t been at his top form, RHJ still provided plenty of positives in this game that TNT will need going forward.
Robert Lee Bolick NLX PG 19 PTS | 9 REB | 10 AST | 44.8 FPS
The NLEX superstar has been on a triple-double watch over his last two games and he was even better today, nearly pairing it with his 13th 20-point output of the season. Through five games in this conference, Bolick has been remarkably efficient, shooting 55% on two-pointers and 47.6% from deep.
Deschon Winston NLX SG 24 PTS | 6 REB | 5 AST | 42.7 FPS
Though Winston struggled in the opening half, scoring just seven points, he came alive when it mattered, dropping seven in the third and adding 10 more in the fourth to lead all local players in scoring. On top of that, he continues to impress in the secondary categories, averaging 4.8 rebounds and 4.8 assists this conference.
Rey Benedict Nambatac TNT PG 21 PTS | 9 REB | 1 BLK | 37.8 FPS
Offensively, Nambatac struggled from the field, going just 5-for-21 including a 1-of-7 mark from deep. From the line, however, he was brilliant—shooting a perfect 10-for-10 to record his fourth game this conference with at least 19 points. On the whole, Nambatac continues to have an excellent conference, which is a big turnaround after his underwhelming run in the Commissioner’s Cup.
DeQuan Jones NLX SF 28 PTS | 9 REB | 1 BLK | 36.8 FPS
Even though Jones had a difficult time scoring, he was able to make up for it at the free-throw line, where he converted 8-of-9 to lead all scorers. He also delivered when his team needed him, dropping 12 points in the fourth quarter to help them hold on for their fifth-straight win.
Kim Cyril Aurin TNT SF 22 PTS | 8 REB | 1 STL | 32.6 FPS
The TNT wing continues to prove his worth, dropping a new season-high performance. He started strong, knocking down 3 three-pointers in the first half, and delivered when it mattered most—hitting three more triples in OT to lift his team to the win.
Anthony Paul Semerad NLX PF 15 PTS | 7 REB | 1 STL | 27.9 FPS
Semerad kept lighting it up from distance, hitting 5-for-6 from deep today to finish as one of the team’s top scorers. So far in this conference, he’s been lethal from deep, going 14-for-23 in his first five outings.
Calvin Abueva CON PF 9 PTS | 12 REB | 1 STL | 27.4 FPS
Converge needed this performance from the former All-star. Facing a big first-quarter deficit, Abueva took charge, racking up 8 points and 8 rebounds in the first half to pull his team back into the game. He continues to be a major asset for Converge this conference, providing a positive impact in multiple ways.
Justin Arana CON C 16 PTS | 5 REB | 1 STL | 24.5 FPS
The Converge big man was on a different level to start the conference, averaging 33 points on a superb 74% shooting from two over three games. In his last two games, however, he was far from that form—putting up just 27 points in total while struggling to stay effective, averaging 3.5 turnovers and 4.5 fouls.
John Bryle Bahio NLX C 8 PTS | 6 REB | 2 BLK | 23.7 FPS
Things have been tough for the NLEX big man in his last two games, but he finally got his groove back today—shooting efficiently from the field and posting a full stat line. Despite seeing reduced playing time this conference, Bahio has still provided a positive impact.
Michael Kurtiz Williams CON SG 18 PTS | 2 REB | 2 AST | 22.4 FPS
Despite his struggles from the three-point area, this was otherwise an excellent offensive outing. The Converge guard shot 3-for-4 on two-pointers and a perfect 3-for-3 from four-point range, finishing second on the team in scoring while establishing a new season high.
Kevin Louie Alas NLX PG 14 PTS | 2 REB | 1 STL | 20.9 FPS
The veteran guard provided a nice spark off the bench, shooting a perfect 4-for-4 from two-point range alongside a 4-pointer for his third double-digit scoring game of the conference. He is shooting 62% on two-pointers over his last five games.
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT OF THE DAY:
Jerrick Vincent Ahanmisi SMB SG 3 PTS | 3 REB | 2 AST | 12.6 FPS
This was the exact opposite of his performance in their previous match. After recording a conference-high output against Titan, Ahanmisi went cold today, converting just 1-for-7 from the field. This was the third time this conference that he has scored five points or fewer. Across the previous two conferences combined, he only had two such games.
