Alex Eala is among three players who have earned main‑draw wild‑card entries for the upcoming Bad Homburg Open.
First announced on the tournament’s Instagram account, Alex Eala will join Eva Lys and Venus Williams in the singles draw.
A New Tournament Debut for Eala
Much like some of the clay‑court tournaments where Eala made her debut earlier in 2026, this will be her first time competing at the WTA 500 event in Bad Homburg, Germany.
The Top 8 seeds have also been revealed: Iga Swiatek, Elina Svitolina, Mirra Andreeva, Karolina Muchova, Linda Noskova, Ekaterina Alexandrova, Naomi Osaka, and Iva Jovic.
With this tournament being the last WTA competition before the highly anticipated Wimbledon Grand Slam, the world No. 37 will be looking to bounce back after her disappointing stint at Roland Garros and other clay‑court tournaments she competed in earlier this season.
