The Creamline Cool Smashers punched their ticket back to the Finals after outlasting the Farm Fresh Foxies, 25-23, 14-25, 25-23, 25-19, in the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference at the FilOil Centre in San Juan.
In the third set, the Cool Smashers looked in control with a 19-14 lead, but Farm Fresh fought back behind Mylene Paat to tie the game at 19-all. Creamline, however, regained its composure as Bernadeth Pons, Michele Gumabao, Jema Galanza, and Tots Carlos delivered crucial hits to secure a 2-1 set advantage.
“Siguro number one ‘yung mga players talagang nag-step up, talagang gusto nilang manalo today kasi ‘yung Farm Fresh hindi rin basta-basta. Veteran team din sila, pero siguro mas gusto ng players ng Creamline na manalo at makabalik sa Finals,” said Cool Smashers head coach Sherwin Meneses.
Creamline Shows Trademark Depth
Carlos led the Cool Smashers with 15 points and 14 excellent digs, while Galanza and Pangs Panaga contributed 13 points apiece. Pons finished with 12 points, along with 17 excellent receptions and 17 excellent digs.
