The PLDT High Speed Hitters head into the bronze medal series with confidence after sweeping the Cignal Super Spikers, 25-17, 25-22, 25-23, in the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference at the FilOil Centre in San Juan.

In the third set, PLDT was on the verge of closing out the match with a 23-19 lead, but Cignal’s second unit fought back to tie the game at 23-all behind Jessa Ordiales and a couple of errors from the High Speed Hitters. Alleiah Malaluan and Mika Reyes, however, delivered in the clutch to seal the straight-sets victory.

“Sadyang unfortunate na hindi namin nakuha ‘yung goal namin, pero kailangan mag-move on agad,” said High Speed Hitters head coach Rald Ricafort. “‘Yung pagiging hard sa sarili namin di maiiwasan, pero ‘yung trabaho, kailangan mag-show up pa rin. Gusto pa rin namin kunin ‘yung bronze,” he added.
